how fast is Nagato?

during the fight with Naruto in Konoha... the "main Pain" showed a speed that i'd like to call insane...
when Naruto started to become the tailed beast, Pain was running like hell on the water in the Anime...
and it's hard to tell with the manga scans...

my question to you guys: how fast do you believe that this Pain is, really?

Well he was fast but at the end it didn't matter he died nonetheless,if you mean Nagato he isn't fast he is a cripple,if you mean the 6 th pain that he was using then that pain was really fast but not faster then Naruto in 6 tailed form.

6th pain aint fast....he was just shown running... naruto's SM is even faster.

Nagato has a speed feat.

Do you remember when he blew Naruto/Bee/Itachi away with shinra tensei then somehow he appeared behind bee. Thats some pretty quick movement for someone who can't use their leggs.

slow enough that he couldnt dodge a physical attack from naruto.

Since i'm to lazy to edit my last post, He also has another (even though it's not that great).

After nagato had absorbed Bee's chakra, he pushed him away, Then naruto came jumping in, He got caught by nagato's summon. There was a Gap between nagato and naruto, Not a large gap (a couple of feet) but a gap none the less. Again even with his leggs not being in full working order he was able to blitz that small gap.

Even in his younger days when he had the use of his leggs he had a pretty good speed feat against hanzo.

Yup, like exaar pointed out, even during his younger days he was able to retrieve Konan and take him back to yahiko in a short time frame, even tho he was caught in the explosive tags it was actually a legit speed feat

he also managed to make his way up the cliff to Hanzo, apparently surprising him.

Also against bee, he managed to out speed him despite having limited mobility, the same bee who was keeping up with sasuke. (Abc logic, but yeah, it's sorta makes sense.)

Not fast at all, the anime is deceiving

When Kakashi used the underground Doton attack, he nearly stabbed deva's head.

If not for shrina tensei, deva path would of been stabbed in the face.


Nagato when he was able to walk couldn't even dodge explosive tags.

Minato was able to do that with shuushin alone, no ftg.

Nagato is arguably the second slowest akatsuki member.
