How Does the Sharingan Work?

OK, so, you've got Amaterasu, Tsukiyomi, Susano'o as one set of unique Sharingan powers. In that case, Sasuke, Itachi, and Madara are all in that camp. So, Madara could not use Kamui or Kotoamatsukami, then? And, assuming so, then are Kamui and Kotoamatsukami really unique? Or were there camps of Uchiha with those powers? And, if so, or even if not, what other powers are there?

Yes, Kamui and Kotoamatsukami is unique, but it unknown if other Uchiha's have these abilities. What other powers are unknown because we know little or was not told of.

Well, Tobito is all for Infinite Tsukuyomi, and he claims to be the one that will perform the jutsu, so, he must have it, right? But he also has Kamui...

he either has a sharingan with two abilities or he meant to say that he will be the one to revive Madara and Madara will do it.... Obito definitely has a genjutsu though`maybe it is a normal sharingan generated gen though.

He definitely has the standard, out-of-the-box genjutsu, but we don't necessarily know beyond that. And his plan to become the 10-tails jinchuriki wouldn't make sense if he wasn't the caster.

maybe it has sth to do with kamui's alternate dimension.... Itachi could create an alternate reality in his tsukuyomi where time flows differently than the outside world and he could make his victims experience whatever he wanted. maybe Obito can do sth similar only that his MS can generate a different type of alternate reality as opposed to that of Itachi.... control both time and space? hence claiming he could become the jinchuriki, he would trap the 10tails in that world and somehow control it

When you start going to ultimate sharingan ability (kamui) plus, that seems way too OP. If that's the situation, I'll be mighty disappointed.

This is sort of a spin-off from my last post, but how does Sharingan work? We know that the regular sharingan ccan see fast movements, copy, register chakra, render opponents into a suggestible state, and can help them control summons. We also know that it can evolve into MS, and EMS. We know MS is a temporary condition ending in either blindness or EMS. We know EMS is, well, E... permanent.

But that's where it seems to end for me, at least.

Is Susano'o a power of all MS or EMS Uchihas? Or is that the ultimate individual power of only some Uchihas? Does every Uchiha with MS unlock a distinct power apart from other Uchihas? Are these powers like devil fruits, recycling into new characters when old characters die off? Are these unique powers in a book somewhere? Are they even unique, or could, theoretically, any Uchiha unlock a Kotoamatsukami or Kamui? What are the rules?
