Because the Juubi has a shell that makes up its body, the Mazou. All the tailed beasts as we know them don't have an actual shell, they are essentially just masses of chakra. So its more logical for multiple individual tailed beasts to exist for this reason. But for the Juubi to multiply the entire size of its body, it would logically have to split the Mazou down to a smaller form as well.
I think the interpretation of the Mazou being the Juubis shell (at least if you take it literally) is utterly wrong. It is something created by the so6p as well.

It does however not change what I said before. All you can do is nod your head, and consent to what you read. It does not have to be logical to you, all that matters is how Kishi sees it. Also you cannot "trust" whatever information given by characters in the actual manga. Madara might not know everything. We have seen this on several occasions, where one explanation is either totally wrong or becomes modified along the way.

I personally believe, that the so6p could meet Naruto, and he might give the 'most correct' explanation about everything regarding the Juubi and his battle with it. There is definitely a reason for the so6p to create the tailed beasts and tell them, what we saw in Kuramas flashback so far.

The way the tree appeared it was just a pumped up mokuton tree.. obito was still jinchuuriki... you can't become jinchuuriki of 9 tailed beasts, and to bring out the power of the god tree you need to have all 9 which are united into one being in the shell of juubi known as gedou mazou.
Also gedou mazou seems to be made out of similar/ the same stuff as the white zetsu stuff, so mokuton..
When the god tree became mad and turned juubi he probably created a mokuton shell which is gedou mazou and poured it's chakra in it creating juubi.. the tree itself died because of lack of chakra nurturing.
Yes you are required to be a Jinchurinki in order to bring out the power of the Biju, but once you release that chakra the chakra itself is no longer inside you. When Bee goes full beast form, he doesn't still have the beast inside him, he's letting it be free, but simply using his body as a median. If Obito lets the Juubi out of his body, he should no longer have the chakra inside him and since the Juubi requires the Mazou to be revived, he should not be able to have the Mazou inside him and still revive the Juubi, its simply goes against all we have learned about the Juubi.

And now it's gone

I mean the shinju and the statue can't exist at once

And the tree hasn't been spotted at all(it's a giant flower how could you NOT notice it)
That's exactly my point. And yes, IT IS STILL THERE.

Just because it hasn't been spotted since Madara took over as the MV doesn't mean its not still there. It simply means that it is no longer of significant relevance, but trust me its still there. The tree was there after Obito was defeated and Naruto attacked Madara. The tree simply won't vanish out of thin air after being summoned.

Not only that, but you completely disregard the first half of my argument. Even IF the god tree was no longer there, Obito still should not have been able to summon it IN THE FIRST PLACE. The fact that Obito released the full scale Juubi without it containing the Biju's chakra nor the Mazou itself goes against everything we know about the Juubi. I'd like to see you try to deny that every happened.

The God Tree Obito created wasn't the freed juubi, it was contruct containing the Juubi's power, that mimicked the tree. The proof is the fact that it still exist. The tree is no longer being filled with juubi's power anymore though.

It doesn't go against anything i know about it..

Obito was jinchuuriki of juubi.. the ten tailed beast.. he didn't release it bee style.

he created the god tree.. mokuton style like how probably the god tree created juubi (gedou mazou)..
and he fed it chakra from the tailed beasts.. he didn't plunge them over to that tree.. he was just nurturing it.. he was the jinchuuriki.. the god tree that's standing now won't do shit.. it's basically dead. that god tree is not a transformation of the humanoid ten tails thing.. in the past a giant tree did not shapeshift into a beast.. it created the beast.. he created the shell (gedou mazou) and transferred itself in it.. the tree died.. probably gedou mazou was hanging on that tree somewhat similar as you saw all the zetsu hanging on the hashirama tree of madara. (which was by the way also nurtured by gedou mazou.)

That's how i see it.
