I've been thinking lately about Naruto's words to Sasuke. If we fight again, we'll both die. What did he mean by that? There are only a few things that I came up with.
1. They both fight, They both die from their injuries.
2. They both fight, Naruto kills Sasuke, then he kills himself, not able to carry the burden of killing his 'brother.'
3. They both fight, Sasuke kills Naruto, then he kills himself.
In my opinion I think the second one is most likely. Because Naruto is suppose to save Sasuke from the darkness, and to prove to him that when you live your life to take Revenge, it never turns out good. But The only way that he can do that is by defeating him, but if he did, and Sasuke died, I don't think Naruto could just forget about it and move on. After all, that's the person he claimed to be his 'best friend' or 'brother' That's why I know Sasuke won't be the one to kill Naruto. If he won, he wouldn't learn anything. It would just make him think he was right, and that Naruto should've minded his own business. Naruto's the child of prophecy. He's destined to beat Sasuke, and to bring peace. That brings us back to the question, 'Would Naruto be prepared to kill Sasuke?' Physically, yes. Mentally, I don't think so. Does anyone think differently?
