It's quite easy actually: you first make the link, and then, when you past the url using the url button on your tools, youll notice the url got in twice. Select the url that is NOT betwin the "" and replace it with the name, or any other world...

First of all,go to the thread where you made the bio, copy the url. Then go to edit signature, in the message box you see there, click on the url link logo(it looks like the globe with some stuff beneath it or so :shrug. It'll say enter the url. Paste the bio url you copied, then in the message box, you'll see:

this is just an example!
Then Save Changes
