How do you feel of a noncanon character being used as canon?

Me personally, what was the point? Why can't it just be that Ringo-guy, that could of been in that era that died?

Deciding to use an anime character, that doesn't fit the storyline at all, was basically a waste of effort drawing.

I don't mind it, other then it really setting in stone that fillers can't be formated into the story too well, all things considering.

And I think this was suppose to be of the Generation prior to Zabuza's, which explains a lot considering a lot of the faces do look new.

Kishi has to give the animators permission to add things. They don't have creative license on his brand so they can't just do what ever they want. Its quite likely that Kishi has certain characters already designed but hasn't used them in the anime yet or just gives the animators directions on how he wants his characters to look. The same thing happened with utakata, he appeared in a filler first then was introduced as an Edo tensei.

Honestly people who are so dismissive of anime facts should be more open minded, considering kishimotos probably have some collaborative involvement with the anime creators. Think about the anime as an extended version of the manga where they can expand the Naruto universe. I hate fillers but I acknowledge characters and filler story as part of Naruto.

this chapter has just changed the debate game. Anime can now be considered conon. Obviously manga and anime can be intertwined at any given moment, kishi just added that to the game. Speaking of games, how the akatsuki gathered is supported by kishi, as he is the ones who is designing them.

How do you know Kishi didn't design the character for the filler? Kishi has personally designed the costumes for all the akatsuki's background in Storm Revolution, don't see why he wouldn't tell the animators how to make character look.

Raiga and Ranmaru did happen, The girl took the swords and joined the 7 swordsmen after he was dead. Then he god hit by a bus, or possibly kabuto blindsided her.

Possible, but when reintroduced they were all called as the deadliest generation. Meaning they'd probably serve together at at least one point in time.

I'd say his anime actions are not canon..At all
