how do you change your "NAT" to open?

ive played my xbox for a while but i still dont get why sometimes my "NAT TYPE" is set to strict out of know where, what does this mean?

why is this happening , its stopping me from connecting to matches, does anyone have a legit answer for this?

Mine is the same way. Isn't that better though I see that most the matches I get don't lag.

ugh i did it, but it still says NAT type is strict, is there a specific time your supposed to leave it plugged?

1. Go to dashboard
2. Test live connection
3. Sign back in
4. Done!

If this dont work you can try this ...
1. reset router
2. check settings ... especially uPnP is enabled

It won't be that easy, I also have NAT type strict on my PS3, I've tried various methods to change it but all failed

LOL thanks, i figured it out before i even checked back on this thread,

first i reset the modem

second i tested xbox live connection after i reset the xbox

then it went away, and my nat type became open, i guess its a security thing
