I think a very important factor being a human is the fact that we have the ability to think critically. We are a species with great thought provoking capabilities, but yet, most of us only take things at face value, and are limited to what we are surrounded by. So my question(s) are, how are you challenging your assumptions? How are you constantly critiquing the way you perceive things? Are they changing? Do you think the way you perceive things should change? What are some situations that you personally don't think merit a change, but put you in a negative light? Breakfast club good morning!...

I have always been a painfully self-conscious person.

I like fiction that challenges me, I like changing my personality if I catch a couple bad mannerisms, I like improving myself and I like working on weaknesses and the result is one meta asf small man who has gone too deep into introspection and can't get out.

Death doesn't scare me and I like feeling my small place in the world in accordance to other people, fictional images and tropes and my own fading insecurities. Makes you stronger.

I do not know if I do. I just think all the time. About myself, about other people...I feel all the time too; more than I think, even (which, if you know me, might seem impossible lol). It is probably a pretty dumb answer, but it is all that comes to mind at the moment.

Interesting, so what are you working on specifically to challenge yourself? I personally am someone who is self centered, and caring at the same time. I'm always on polar opposites when posed with a situation, but never in between, that's something I'm trying to work on, balance.

Also what are your thoughts on life after death?

Meditation is the key to self realization.
How often do you meditate? What are some challenges presented in the face of yourself?

I have never tried meditating. I'm incredibly time-conscious too and so always want to be keeping myself busy with something- even if it's just editing a video or watching a film. I've always felt like those are therapeutic and intelligent films are my meditation. Through a narrative and images presented to you- you try learn more about yourself.

Right now what i'm trying to improve is my tendency to take too much of the blame. During work i've noticed if ANYTHING goes wrong it doesn't even occur to me that it could be down to somebody else. It's a bad way to live and is modest to a fault. It can just be little things like that.

In my videos and screenplays I also need to work on my dialogue as it can be quite preachy and usually involves one character condescending to the other in a strange power struggle. Sadly that takes place with most of my characters. What that says about me i'm not sure- but i'm fixing it.

Have you ever shared a thought, or idea with someone, maybe a belief that someone didn't necessarily feel the same about? How did you handle it? Did it turn into a debate, or did you try to step outside the box?

:p Doing whatever I want without second thoughts
Do you ever get second thoughts? Or do you critically decide the best course of action before proceeding forward so you don't need to think twice.

Well i'm a film student so I try avoid the blockbusters these days as they don't make me think and have got repetitive. (JWorld & Avengers 2 mostly buried this film year financially for me)

I like End of Evangelion. Nymphomaniac. Seven Samurai. Life of Pi. What a Beautiful Day.

The stuff that just presents you more with images and doesn't feel the need to explain them one by one to you. That blank space where you brain works out how you feel about it and tries to comprehend it is what I mean by my meditation.

I don't meditate often. But when I did, it was beneficial in mental and emotional ways. I believe everyone will have their own version of Heaven when they die.

This is pretty much my kind of thread

1. I try to force myself out of my comfortable shell once a day doing something out of my comfort zone.

2. I meditate, see aura's, read people, read myself better, see energies, entities, visualize/intention experiments, etc.

3. Eliminate my ego in real life to prevent unnecessary clashes, hate, self hate, and prevent boxed-in views.

After 15 minutes of Meditating, my inner eye visualises so detailed it's like I have a tv monitor on the inside of my eyelids.

Interesting, so would you say that in your daily life, when being confronted with things on the spot, is it typically hard for you to cone out of your comfort zone, or have you conditioned yourself to not bat an eye in the face of adversity? How far do you go with stepping out of the box before it's considered too far?

No, merely a question to be answered truthfully.
How do I answer that question ;-;
uhh, when I challenge myself I try to always go with the
first action that pops into my head, unless it's extreme. So
even if I have any second thoughts about the idea being bad
I still carry it out.

Tbh I'm not even sure if I'm answering your question.:|

I remain in control in any unpleasant situation. No matter how big the stress. I just need to be alone and 'recharge' myself for a longer period of time afterwards.
