I have a Notepad file titled Morals. Whenever I want to break a habit or start a new habit that pushes me closer to the person I want to be, I write it down on this file. I first type what I want to change, then why I want to change it. Afterward, I try to argue against my beliefs, resulting in a back and forth debate with myself. Ultimately, this decides whether I keep it in the file or not. It's worked well so far, but I feel that if I were to ever break one of my listed principles, then the rest would tumble over as well. That's why I have to be especially careful in what I decide to write there. Hopefully this is all relevant to the topic ^^
