My psychology teacher told me that it can be done with a self hypnosis before going to sleep. I can't really give you a formula of exactly how to do it, but before you go to sleep, breath rhythmically and count to the rhythm of your breathing and think abut what you want to dream about.

Everyone something weird happens in a dream, I never question it. I always believe reality has just changed and its not a dream

As mentioned above, you have to realize you're dreaming, which in all honesty is pretty hard. I myself have had quite a few lucid dreams (like 7-8), but it takes a lot of practice; not gonna lie. Try repeating these lines: "I'm aware that I'm dreaming" or something like that throughout the day and almost 80-90% of the time, you'll 'say' it while you're sleep (and once you'd realize that, you might have a lucid dream). Either that or pinch yourself throughout the day and sure enough you'd do the same in your dream (you hardly ever feel pain when you pinch yourself in your dream)

It's easier to perform this when taking naps in the morning/afternoon rather than full on sleep at night. Also, try having a dream journal and keep it next to you so that when you wake up, you can quickly jot down what you were dreaming about; it helps.

This is not relevant but last night I dreamed that Byakuya Kuchiki gave birth to a baby. Weird, huh?

A lot of people aren't going to be of help to you. The first time it happened to me, I kept telling myself that I was on my bed and that the last place I was was right there on the bed itself, so when I was dreaming, I realized that something was different. Even when I didn't realize I was dreaming, I was still able to control my own actions in the dream. As far as control of the dream itself goes, the more you experience lucid dreaming, the more control you will have. I hope this helps. c:

I constently point out I'm dreaming, and everyone in my dream looks at me like WTF and goes, "Your not sleeping! What makes you think you are?" To which I reply, "I'm disabled, I'm standing, walking and running, I'm in a dream." That's usually when I wake up. If I want to do something spacific in a dream, I kinda have to put some effort into it and think hard on it. Like if I want to shoot a zombie in the face I hold out my hand and go, "Pew pew!" ...Not proud of it but hey, everyones different, lol.
