How do I confront my friend who lied to me?

OT : It's not a big deal , sometimes we just don't feel like hanging with set person , it doesn't mean you are not his friend anymore , when your friend bangs your GF & lies to you about it , give me a ring .

I wouldn't make a big deal about it. Could have just lied cause he didn't feel like hanging out with you at the time, I've done it before to my friends and I don't do it because I don't like the person, I lie because I'm just not up for hanging out with them at the time. You can't expect your friends to want to hangout you anytime and every time you want to hang out. Plus, he might have already made plans to hangout with his other friends before you hit him up so he lied because he already had plans. You're making a big deal out of nothing homie, just let it go.

Only if you know he wouldn't take that very serious..if you aren't really good friends just ignore him

He is a good friend of mine. I was planning on saying when we shake hands like we always do, "Oh hey *******...going to the basketball game and lieing to me....all I ever did was love man" in a joking, outgoing tone with a smile on my face like I don't really care. Like I think that's a good move as long as I don't give off as serious but more of a "i know what happened"

You don't know for a fact he lies to you. He could have been woken up and asked to go, there might not of been enough room ect. Could have been someone else who didn't want you to come. Never really met a "popular kid" on NB before either. (When I was in High School years ago doing things like this made you uncool). It's really nothing that makes you important nor should It be relevant to your situation honestly.. Just because you're good friends with them and they talk to you all the time don't mean that they like you as much as you think. I do that to people I can't stand just because I'm either forced to since a good friend of mine knows them knows them OR I just don't like them but they get invited out anyway. Maybe they just wanted a break from you. Maybe they just forgot to invite you or they figured you made other plans since your friend didn't wanna hang out.
