How do I change the color of my value text?

Could someone shed some light on me please? I tried going to customize profile but i couldn't find it.. My text blends in with my background image.U_U

UserCP --> Customize Profile
In the top box called Main you will see 3 options for text. Either click on the color box or enter a hexadecimal value.

you have to put in the 6 digit code you can google the bb codes for diffrent colors. Not on my pc or I'd link you to a page with it. You can get basic colors from when you edit your profile. Like how gamahiro said. Then when you click a field and add a color. There will be a number that begins like #222656 < this is the type of number you put in for the diffrent colors ect.. NB already has many pre loaded.

Thanks guys but the value always stayed black, I found out a substitution though, I'll just change the background lol
