You don't know how foolish this will look when it's confirmed that you do need Senju DNA.

You dont get it dont you? Power of the Six Paths is combined body and eye power. You cant obtain it without one of the pieces. Thats why Sages older son didnt have Rinnegan, even though he was direct descendant and was said to inherit his fathers "eyes".

2. Uchiha eyes

Uchiha Madara

Hence, why Nagato is capable of awakening the Rinnegan + Gedou Mazou.

It was clearly stated before that Uzumakis are distant relatives to Senjus.
Also, Hashirama's DNA was most certainly used to awaken Rinnegan.

Well, as far as I'm aware at least.

It would be logical to assume (enough), that if the same contributing triggers would awaken/unlock the eyes.

Transplanted eyes are always active...Nagato wouldn't be able to activate himself if he didn't transplant them while they were active.

I know what you're saying and understood, however as I stated, I simply have no proof. Plus, it's a speculation for me to think that they both awakened it through near death experience.
