How did the First Hokage died?

So as the title says. How did Hashirama died? We know only that he died in one of the wars that occured after the founding of Konoha but does anyone know where and when did this happen? I searched the forum a bit and didnt found any threads about this. We know how the 2nd died (sacrificing for his teammates to escape), we know how the 3rd died (fight with orochimaru), we know how the 4th died (sealed himself in the belly of the Shinigami along with half of the Kyuubi's chakra) but how did the first died?
Any thoughts anyone??

However the war still waged on, and thinking about the future of Konoha, he and his younger brother, Tobirama Senju, the future Second Hokage, trained the young Hiruzen Sarutobi, the future Third Hokage. 1st and 2nd died in the First War.

The circumstances surrounding Shodai's death are still unknown.
But he died during the war.
How do I know he died during the War? Because Naruto Wikia is more reliable than the opinions of NB Members and the Databooks stated so.
His age at death? Look back to when Konoha got invaded from that traitor Oro, how did he look?
Almost the same as Madara did when Madara walked out that coffin.

I think kakuzu killed him and took his heart, he did say he fought him, but didn't say he killed him so I'm not too sure, just a thought.

The Nidaime is the Shodai's younger brother by blood, who inherited his brother's dying wish and was called "Hokage" after the Shodai died. He entrusted the wishes of the suppression of war and the prospering of the village to his successor and died a noble death.
