How did Orochimaru escape Totsuka?

Well how did he? I feel like more and more Itachi let us down. None of his moves lived up to their hype. The allegedly unbreakable Tsukuyomi was broken, the allegedly unavoidable Amaterasu was dodged, and the allegedly sealed for eternity Totsuka was escaped.

He should have been salesman, he can really overhype shit and have you believe in his product.

Anyway, how the heck did Orochimaru escape Totsuka? I can't think of a good way to explain it but somehow he did.

No his consciousness is in every cursed seal. The one in Anko's is the Oro now. The one sealed is still in Totsuka.

This is one of the plot holes I wish Kishi cleared up or there was something in that scroll that Suigetsu picked up on his en route to finding Sasuke that told how Oro could escape Totsuka. Knowing Itachi also he probably did not want to seal him lie he didn't hurt or kill Kabuto because he wanted to let them understand their mistakes. So my thinking is his Totsuka didn't go all out and let Oro escape.

This not possible. That would mean his soul is in every cursemark too and you can't have multiple souls, only one and we know current Orochimaru, or the one who Sasuke revived is his real soul because his old arms that was sealed reunited with the rest of it.

Anko was the one Sasuke got the present Orochimaru out of. The unnamed ppl carrying CSs were all stored at the same hideout Jugo was found at, and Suigetsu killed them all.
