How did Orochimaru escape Totsuka?

Orochimaru was never sealed in Totsuka to begin with, he escaped at the last second.

Those three snakes then slither off, preumably carrying Orochimaru's consciousness. We know one of them died when the flames of Amaterasu fell on it. The other two must have died at some point as well, because Orochimaru's consciousness transferred to Anko's Curse Mark, where Sasuke released him.

I'm going to imagine you're not out of your mind and treat you as I normally would.

You were just so confident I figured you must know what you're talking about for a fact.
I mean, it must be impossible that what Totsuka Blade sucked in was a husk of Orochimaru, similar in concept to what's left after Oral Rebirth, right?

And before you say it HAD to have been the real Orochimaru because it still sucked him in, and wouldn't have done that if it were a soulless husk, look at Edo Nagato.
The paper and dirt that composed his body was also being sucked into Totsuka, meaning something doesn't have to have a soul or consciousness to be sucked into Totsuka.
