How did obito survive konan?

Ye yes i know that obito used izanagi to survive konans technique, but how exactly?

From what we know of izanagi having seen it in action with danzo vs sasuke, izanagi had a one minute time limit on it, (per eye) so how did obito having sacrificed only one eye to use it manage to avoid 10 minutes of continuous explosions?

Konan rigged the explosions based on the intel that Obito's Kamui only lasted [I think] 10 minutes. Obito at some point used Izanagi to escape, meaning he either used Izanagi when Kamui was at its limit, or he used Izanagi to escape one reality [that kamui would fail] into another reality [that the explosions would end before kamui]

izanagi doestn mean your stronger just mean danzo had armies of them and still died

Whilst it does offer some explanation behind izanagi, it doesn't really explain much about the technques true abilities.

And whether or not that was why he was able to avoid konans ability, perhaps as others suggested he used kamui in conjunction with izanagi or something.

With regards to konan's technique, i believe it was her paper angel technique that wore off due to the amount of chakra she used, not the sea of explosive tags.

So basically if he didn't have that he would be dead.

looking back, Konan actually almost had him, albeit he did underestimate her and took her lighter than he has been the war itself

If she did had the reserves, she may have forced him to use up his Kamui eye, which would have been an issue for him
