They were able to defeat Kaguya with help and would've defeated Madara anyways because the story demands it.


Kaguya had nowhere to go? She could've teleported herself out of that situation and avoided being sealed. Madara would meet a similar fate not swapping with his Shadows for whatever reason. His power gets sealed, Bijuu extracted by Hagoromo and he'd be encased in Six Paths CT.

Or Naruto would play the hero by extracting the Tailed Beasts from him

Why would Madara care about that? It didn't slow him down and he had no problem levitating with just his upper half before he completely regenerated his lower half. :lol

Naruto and Sasuke hadn't used their full power against Madara and were just getting used to it.

Madara was also going through the same thing. He had just become the Juubi Jin and was apparently enjoying and getting used to his new found power.

It could be said Madara reached Non-JJ Hagoromo's level while Naruto and Sasuke=Non-JJ Hagoromo. It would've been a great fight if BZ hadn't snaked his way in...I would' ve preferred them to have their finak fight before Kaguya emerged. Would've liked for her battle against them to be handled differently too. Dissapointing...
