How did Naruto and Sasuke even plan on defeating Madara.

I think the biggest issue with Madara was, his lack of connection with either Naruto or Sasuke. If this fight was to go on, it would kinda feel less exciting.

Sasuke had some jutsu hashi gave to him that was supposed to bind madara. Sasuke could've had a rikudou enhanced version of it.
Bind madara(madara can't limbo switch when he can't move) and get him with the seals or ameno blitz madara into narutos bijuu RS. Madara wouldn't be able to recover from the unstable juubi blob.
