How did Mito utilize Byakugō?

The only thing we know about Mito ability wise is her:

- Finjutsu mastery (she sealed the 9tail by herself)

- Ability to sense emotions

- Powerful chakra

What we know about the seal:

- Once the seal is formed, the user's already impressive chakra control allows

them to perform techniques without any wasted energy.

- The stored chakra when released; into the users body,

greatly amplifying the power of the users techniques.

- It grants regerative abilities (healing techs: Creation Rebirth, Strength Of A Hundred).

- The seal is also linked to Katsuyu, and as the slug noted, it too is supported by the seal.


Disclosure: We know Mito didn't use the healing techniques Tsunade and Sakura used.

So what did she use it for?

I never researched it apart from seeing that she does indeed have it in the Databook, but I was pretty sure it said that Tsunade developed the Yin seal, not that she simply mastered it since Orochimaru saw her last.

But i could be wrong.

Why would she do that? The Yin Seal is nothing more than a Sealing Technique design to store chakra. She must have develop the technique to further refine her chakra control to contain the Kyuubi, which was sealed in her.

Too far-fetched. If it was a tool to control the Bijuu than Kushina would have had a similar mark on her forehead.

I been reading the Databook [wikia] and it says its unknown if the mark is the Strength of the Hundred seal or Tsunade use the mark as a model.

I explained all of that. But like I said it is a theory so it isn't incorrect nor correct.

I didn't have too. The fact remains... There is no scan showing/stating her using the mark in the way of Strength of the Hundred Seal.

This is most likely accurate. It isn't because she has a similar marking, that she actually possesses the seal, like how so many people just assume that Sasuke has all of Pain's rinnegan abilities as well, even though he never displays most of them and does show a bunch of unique ones, most likely meaning he just has a separate set of abilities, like how everyone has different Mangekyo ebilities.

She had KCM because sensing emotions is a KCM feat. She was capable of regenerating because she is pure Uzumaki, healing is their unique attribute and that's what the Byakogou grants. My guess is she specialized in healing because Kurama's abilities were meant to amplify that of the Uzumaki clan.

Tsunade didn't invent it, "develop" is the key word. Tsunade basically improved it like how Minato improved the Jinchuuriki seal. Mito was shown to age normally, my guess is Tsunade improved the seal by developing the regeneration feats that allow her body to stay young.
