The seal allowed her to effectively take control of kurama chakra.
Once naruto forcibly started using it he could sense emotions.
She had better control and a better method.
All though she was still hardly a fighter so its not like she had an array of justu to make her a tank on the battlefield per say

shes used kurama chakra for emotions sensory ... she was an uzumaki so her healing ability was already genetic like naruto kushina n karin ... her byakugou was not of much use since she could easily rip kurama chakra ... she was strong like kushina ... damn uzumakis
