hahaha tsukiomi and susano lol...itachi didn't have any eye techniques before he massacred the whole clan,he himself said it about susano,amaterasu amd tsukiomi: the eye techniques emerged after the murderous deed...
besides just having mangeku sharingan was enough to dominate between the uchihas it's like for example kakashis mangeku sharingan against young sasuke's sharingan,kakashi would own his ass and same happened with itachi case,he owned them all just by gap between their powers...no amaterasu no susano lol...

the only way I see him use his MS his to see attack what his enemy will do faster than with a normal sharingan.
There's no way he used Tsukuyomi (useless against a lot of people)
Amaterasu (itachi didn't wanted to burn the village down)
Susanoo (lol seriously)

we talk and discuss this thread endlessly but we will never know for sure how did itachi do it.it doesnot even metter.he was just a genious who was able to whipe out the whole stringest clan in konoha.

there was no need for tsukuyomi or amaterasu and specialy no need for susanno.
he was the strongest of the clan since madara and izuna and that was shown when he beat a crap out of thoes three uchiha's and just them seeing the magenkyo in itachi's eye's plus the madara whit him they all would loose there ability to fight from fear
plus his genjutsu abilitis and taijutsu
he was the greatest of uchiha of his time

i don't think he did it.. and i don't believe anything Tobi says.
i think Danzo was responsible and Itachi was just caught holding the bloody sword he used to defend his family. but he was too late. Sasuke walked in and saw his brother standing over his parents with a bloody sword. Itachi wouldn't kill his little brother nor could he expect his little brother to understand what had happened. so Itachi risked it all, took the blame and left the village.
Itachi might've had a deal with madara to protect the village. i also think Itachi took the blame for the massacre in a deal with Danzo to protect Sasuke.
Itachi made Sasuke hate him in order to drive Sasuke to become great and avenge the family and restore the Uchiha clan.
on a side note, i also think Itachi implanted knowledge about the truth about what happened to the Uchihas in Sasuke's head at the same time he gave him his powers. Itachi was a loving brother no matter what the world thought of him. he gave everything for the village, for his family and for his little brother...

the elders was responsible and more of danzou..cause they wanted uchia gone.....
but u forgot that uchia was planning to take ova konoha too....
so itachi didnt wanna see war....So he did the next best thing....Found madara....
(which he prolly thought like we did...How in the hell can madara loose to tha first wit so many great powers ?) & said he would pretty much join him if he helped take down all uchias except his bro....Ov course madara agreed cause uchia didnt ride wit him at 1st..
