There's this question have been mulling over for a while now. Dies anyone know how Hashirama died? We all know how all the hokages died plus Madara too since he was an important character then...all except for hashirama. So any ideas?

TNJ , his weak assaillant came to ask if the fight could be ended without violence.Hashirama loved the idea , put his life at stake against the weak leader of the weak assaillant , they played Shogi , Hashirama lost.He commited suicide.

Ive read it in Wiki, he died in a War but It's blasphemy, utter blasphemy that he died in a War. He defeated Madara, the greatest ninja ever lived, and then he die in a War? The words doesn't fit. Hashirama and Madara in a war, they were rank 1a, 1b, there will never be anybody who could stand in 1 on 1 with them except themselves.

Beside, how old is he when he die? According to his story, he was still alive when Tsunade was born.

Manga doesn't give the answer if that's what you're looking for (or at least to my knowledge). Databook (like others have said) said he died in the coming war(s) during the revolutionary period.
