[Predictions] How did Buggy...

Become a warlord? I know it wasn't explained at all but how does he become a warlord, he isn't that strong is he? I'm sure even Moria can defeat him. I doubt he's learned haki too. Any predictions?

I doubt they just handed it to him cause he was a member of the Roger pirates.

Shanks has respect for him that's good enough for me, plus I like Buggy more than Moria so I'm gonna have to disagree about that part. But yes I bet being in Rogers crew had an impact.

It is indeed because of bad reputation. It's been stated that the "shichibukai" need to have a troublesome reputation in order to scare away other pirates and cause fear in them. Although, i doubt Buggy can do that since he is weak BUT he does have a big mouth and quite the strong followers + connections now. O_O

- 2nd = They government believes that, he helped luffy break out of Impel Down [ world's toughest prison ]

- 3rd = Knows a Yonkou, aka Akagami shanks on a personal level. [ so that automatically makes him dangerous. Remember when supposedly Whitebeard & Shanks were making contact the world government flipped!!]

During the war arc while Luffy,Jinbe,buggy and other prisoners were on the ship the navy called and explained how Buggy was hiding his identity and they were impressed.They found out about his close relations with Shanks and how he was aboard the Oro Jackson,being the crewmate of Gold Roger

They got the idea he is a very strong person and with all the impel prisoners at his side it was better to have him as an ally then a enemy.
After the war arc ended it was shown how he received a letter from the navy asking him to join the warlords

He didnt rly showcase anything to earn the spot,the navy just built him up on his impressive history and all the strong people that follow him now.

Because his crew consists of many level 3 and level 4 impel down prisoners. I also have a hunch that Buggy has some beast Busoshoku haki now...

Buggy I believe is a powerful character...... Although he is an idiot and doesn't really display any power, I believe that he has one of the strongest devil fruit (In the right hands it would be the greatest)

1) Buggy can not be cut..... Which is the major fight capabilities of most characters

2) He has the ability to separate under any circumstances

3) He has the ability to fly.

4) Has a few tricks up his sleeve such as the Bombs that he can hide inside his body.

So now imagine if buggy was a serious character who has a a good character development...... He would be unstoppable. Just imagine him being able to use Haki and separating his body parts (Which I believe he has acquired since every one now can basically use).
Imagine he has his body spreader and each can form haki.
First hand Holding a Dagger and use Haki
Second hand Holding a Sword and Use haki
His two feet utilize the bomb to either create an opening or severly injure someone.
Whole body can use Haki to protect it's self also to draw someone in as bate.
While he uses the Haki to predict enemy movements........

I am telling you he would e unstoppable........ Also given his reputation so far he is as bad as Luffy.
1) Escaped from Impel Down
2) He led a large group of the convicts from impel down to freedom
3) He was there at Marine ford "Ace Exaction"
5) Knows Red hair Shanks one of the strongest pirates
6) Knows Luffy
7) Was one of the Pirate kings men.

Truly he is more infamous then any other character within One piece...... Just imagine you hear all the above achievement with out you knowing who he is (The Ignorent, stupid, Scary cat that is weak as hell "Because of Plot no Jutsu")
Plus he would give the surgeon of death a really good fight, because buggy has the devil fruit that cancels the surgeon of death.
