I returned here after some time and I see the hot thread and what you wrote about the massacre in Orlando and how my God would condone it.

Jesus established the Spirit of the Law. Jesus is a hard master and he made the Old Covenant harder. You cannot keep it. You need a savior you must repent before the great and terrible day of the Lord

It is the devils that tell you "do what thou wilt." It is the devils that tell you your good deeds will outweigh the bad. You have NO good deeds. None are good BUT GOD. You need a savior. You need to realize you are fallen, evil. And that GOD is the only one that still believes in you.

Would Jesus marry gays? No

But it's so much noise. He's drawing, he's texting, he is withholding judgement. Let the gays be full human beings. They are not mistakes. The way you treat them is a mistake. Your mistakes betray your murderous intent.

You are children of the Most High God and you are called to return home.

Abide in your covenants. With each other and with your God. If you are gay, pursue/demand a committed relationship and let the blessings/*** come from there. Abiding in your covenants is BEING a human BEING.

Don't pursue the blessings/*** first. That is the animals. You can give your WORD and keep it because you, my gay brothers and sisters, ARE created in the image of GOD. There isn't a single part of the big 3 Abrahamic religious texts that doesn't say something negative on the subject.

Okay pal--I'm a Christian all the way (not sanctioning the OP but just sayin') but there's a life lesson you need to learn about making a point with anybody and it should DEFINITELY be applied to your ministry & sharing your beleifs (actually just about anyone can get something out of this)

You can't get your point across to someone by pushing them farther away, and things like arguing, insulting, negative tone or anything of the sort applied to speech pushes people away. Making a stand for your beliefs is fine but if you make one side look like the hero & the other side look like the villain you're doing 2 of many negative things (but I'll focus on these 2)

1) When people on the other side of the argument see a H/V complex it fuels their self justifications that you're wrong & they're right. Peace can never be obtained by inducing anger or offense, it only fans the flames & builds grudges like debt until people are too angry for those with a sane mind to step in & try to use peace talks.

2) As a Christian you're meant to REACH OUT, be a guiding hand, set a positive example & lead/help others down the right direction. Going back to #1 does nothing of the sort & sets everyone behind. If you state your beliefs & other people disagree then act with fairness & respect their free will. If they are wrong and you are right then that's their mistake and that's their choice to make as sad as it is. But offending them or heating their resolve by arguing or throwing scripture out to those already in offense & sparking a debate or flame thread will do nothing. I know it's hard to use proper context or tone of voice in a thread (as that's all on the person(s) reading the post) but wording is key.

If people have an anger problem with gays or atheists or transgenders well guess what? I don't. You know why? I won't be able to convince them of my beliefs or have hope that they will change for the better by spitting in their eye. I still disagree with them on a key point, yes--and I'll do my best to convince them of my beliefs, yes-- but I sure as HELL won't play fascist or force my beliefs on someone else or tear their beliefs away. Coming to Christ in Salvation & following the Lord's will is someone's own choice to make--not ours. How is arguing or building grudges like debt going to accomplish this? Don't hate on others just because you don't see eye to eye--you accomplish NOTHING. I do my best to respect what other people do with their own lives--it's their choice. As much as I'd like a lot of things to be different I won't tear other people's freedom over their own life away. That's not what God wants me to do.

HOW you do something has an enormous effect & change on WHAT you're doing. Tone and context is key.

I've read this post several times, and I still can't tell if this was meant to be satirical or if these are your honest beliefs and opinions.
