it has been explained by sai as to why sakura made that false confession to naruto. She didn't want sasuke to sink any lower in his evil deeds and didn't want naruto to keep chasing sasuke and take all the responsibility and pain. So she made that fake confession to naruto and decided to kill sasuke herself.....but still i wonder that how could she do this when she knew that hinata loved naruto. She herself healed a very critical hinata during the pein arc after hinata was almost dead trying to save naruto from pain? She herself knew about hinata's feelings and her sacrifices...but still she took that step. And i really hate her just for that. Otherwise she is an okay ninja....and not useless technically. But that very fake confession of sakura is what makes me hate her....
