did the Japanese create the afterlife? Also where are all the Americans, europeans and non Japanese people in soul society? They go there and they coincidentally meet parakeet boy and Japanese folks. I mean if everyone dies and goes there for eternity then you'd think the population would be massive but it seems like an ordinary ancient Japanese town.

Bleach makes no sense, they are shinigami but they bleed.
Some go to the afterlife but not necessarily sereitei, but then theres evil people in sereitei, but they dont go to hell. And then there's the possibility of an actual heaven and where da fuk do the quincies come from ugh.

Dude Kubo doesn't put any thought into this story literally I'm watching this for the first time and half the time I'm scratching my head going wtf I don't get it. So is this the same after life for like everyone on earth? I mean this is normal modern day earth right? So wtf how does Parakeet boy just happen to be positioned near the gate.

I really loved the art style so I had to give it a shot but this is dissapointing me so hard it's forcing me to stretch my suspension of disbelief even moreso than One Piece and that is unacceptable. I guess I'm just gonna have to stick with Naruto at least I can grasp how that world functions.

Your question is nonsense, it's like if an anime is based in America, why do they talk Japanese ?

That's a retarded ass question.

But Kubo doesn't care about that anyhow.

Now i simply read it for the fights and because some of the characters are pretty cool. But the story is all over the place.

It just straight up makes no ****ing sense. It's like in this story only Japan exists and everyone in the afterlife is Japanese living in Japanese housing and invisible monsters constantly destroy cities and leave giant footprints and people just clean up and don't think twice about the giant mysterious footprints. And spirits have organs and can bleed, which is just stupid.

Bro just chill out, no need to be like that, it's a frickin' manga
Naruto's word at least makes some sense, Bleach world completely throws logic out the window. Bleach established itself as a story within modern earth yet contradicts this by not including the rest of the word in the afterlife.

My boy Bleach ain't for you if you can't even put aside that stupid logic of yours.
If you're gonna watch/read a series with that mindset and attitude, you will not enjoy it. Not everybody has "fantasy", y'know. Just drop it but don't disturb us with your whining whilst watching/reading a f***ing anime/manga.

This thread is so retarded I had to log back in. Smh.

1. They bleed because they're living beings.
2. Not everyone gets sent to Seireitei, that's that. You don't get to pick when and where you're born, it just happens. Not all evil people in the story start evil, they can turn evil when they enter the Soul Society. Not sure where you got heaven from though.
3. Quincies are human beings, they just have a better ability to manipulate Reishi, and that allows them to access unique powers.

Kubo puts more thought into his story than Kishi does. At least, ever since Naruto's War Arc started.

I don't know how people **** up reading something so simple. I guess this is what I can expect from the mental capacity of NB's majority nowadays.

I must say, I commend your response for being humourous. I didn't think such capability still existed in this cesspool. Anyway, nothing I can say will help you. If something like Bleach is beyond your level of comprehension, which astounds even me, then I can't begin to imagine what else you might complain about due to your limited ability to read text in panels and speech bubbles.

Edit: I'm all out of out of Full Restores to heal your burn.

It's a fanatasy world where writer can limit the world to a culture if they wish to. He drew them to suit local and main audience( readers). If he would have been trying to draw international audience or a multicultural society he might have done that.

It's not like Western comics are much different. :shrug;

There are black people in the story, not many but there are. It's astounding that you would call out bleach for this fault of all anime/manga. Have you not noticed the amount of diversity in this show?! Spanish themed enemies (arrancars) and German themed villains (Quincy) they even use indigenous pronouns. Your just lookin for something to ***** at no one complained in death note when Ray pember spoke fluent Japanese, you know why? Because it's a show you idiot Kubo has done a better job at diversity and spreading other culture than anyone I've seen so far. Even Japanese named characters tend to have indigenous traits of other cultures if you look well enough. Maybe it's just me but shunsui always came to me as a little bit Italian and kenpaichi a little Austrian or something to that extent.
