That could be leftover Amaterasu disappearing into the air. Madara did state in the scan I posted, that it wasn't worth acknowledging.
Also, why would he take his clothes off if he absorbed it?

To show us how absorbing SM work? He absorbed the flame that's why Hashi was curious, and if he simply took off his armor why didn't Sasuke continue burning him? Both Hashi and Naruto noted it was ineffective

Actually, I just now saw him absorbing chakra in that last panel... Now I'm not sure...
