[CC] House Katsuryoku

[Shady Doctor]

I took in all the info, everything he was telling me got me more excited anout 'meeting' one of these genki personally. I had pulled out a pad and pen as he spoke, jotting down what he said in deep detail, making sure to have the data collected.

"So... i have a weird question about Genki... It may be pointless but I'm interested in knowing. Do Genki see, hear and feel just like we do? Basically are they bound by the same affects things have on us. Like a flash bomb. Can that "blind" a genki? Or a crazy loud, disturbing sound, will they be affected? Or freezing temps, would they feel it? Sorry if the question(s) are not of worth."

[Akasha]

OCC: I read through other responses and didn't want to repeat myself when it comes to knowledge about the clan, hence why I didn't write much about it. z.z'' Also, sorry for lateness, some stuff in RL.

Draw was quite late with responding. Her thought flowing in a differing world it seemed. But as the House Leader finished his second speech, she followed after few before her. But before she did, she chose a preferred cloak from those available. ''As my knowledge reaches in the past, you were the one to invite me.'' she modulated. A right eyebrow slightly raised and her head lightly tilted. ''But truthfully I wouldn't have accepted if it wasn't you in question.'' she proceeded. ''The clan itself is something which was not seen till now. Ability to communicate with an unusual, strange and quite authentic world. Spirits, or Genki as you call them is what mostly appeals to my attention. Someone with whom you build an unbreakable liaison. Perhaps indeed, quite beneficial within the battlefield, it is also in life. I can't help but say that they are mighty, however also, it is not the main reason why I made my decision then. The knowledge, or well, reaching for one is one of those things that made my path as it is now. I wish to learn more about them. More about this force, but still without a doubt I wish to make a relation which is not easily breakable. To have someone aid you when needed. To have a companion. I have an adequate knowledge when it comes to solitude, and I wish for some things not to repeat.'' Her eyes fixated in the distance. ''I heard the questions before me, and I do not have any of my own.''

So in order to become 'friends' with these Genki you must give to them and they will give back, they essentially feed off chakra like any other source of Ninjutsu. But at least these Genki are sentient and can provide a variety of different effects. She has felt presences before that weren't there and she guessed that this explained why, it also sounded like Amaimon was going to unlock that perception to be able to see them instead. Should be interesting, at least at the end of this they could all go home and say, "I see dead people."

"I have a question. If I was to lets say... adopt a pet Cat, would I be allowed to infused a Genki into said Cat? Would that be object infusion? Or the other two depending?"

Or freezing temps, would they feel it? Sorry if the question(s) are not of worth."

Amaimon's expression became a questionmark. ''Into a living object, you say? Mhm... I never really thought of that. So my technique have only been ultilized on inanimate objects, such as... Well, chairs, table and so forth. But surely, let us try.'' Fiercly The Voice flung his hand dismissively at Cat, ''Keshin no Jorth..'' The meadow became silent for a moment, as if anything was to occur. Alas, it was but a moment of awkwardness. ''Guess... It doesn't work.. I'd be almost surprised, if I hadn't told you the workings already.'' He said sarcastically and proceeded. ''Such feat falls under the Category of Possesion..''

Retreating from his sarcarstic tone of voice, he directed his attention to the latest question. ''Allow me to demonstrate.''
Waving his arm through the air on his right, his facial expression changed drastically.
'What?! No, get off me!''
''Stand still, when I'm trying to demonstrate!''
''They, can't see me anyway! O___O''
Almost comically Amaimon halts his waving about with his arm as a small droplet run downs his forehead. ''Oh, right.... They see and they hear. Feeling, they do not. They're an ethereal source of energy, which have their very own properties. They won't be blinded, or won't freeze, and they don't have a maximum or minimum sense of hearing. They will however be bound by certain effects, during any sort of possession or tangible/physical states that they may enter. Nonetheless... We should move on.''

Pivoting on his feet. ''Now, that you all have stated your reasons - I wish for us to start training. Come closer, each of you. Reach me your dormant hand.''

---

Cat is also refered to as Yoriuchi, due past events. Just for clarifications.

[Lucidus]

Kirikoe watched and listened as Amaimon spoke, Albeit a bit sarcastically but he was used to this side of Amaimon and was not surprised at all when he tried possessing the cat and it not working. Quite amusing to watch however, finally after all of Amaimon's joking around he got serious and finally was about to begin the training, as ordered Kirikoe held out his dominant hand, moving forward his right hand outwards "Like this?" Kirikoe said as he awaited a response.

[Shady Doctor]

Seeing Gobi.. i mean Amaimon goofing off and even talking to the thin air, i had no choice but to let off an easing smile. It was good that the house leader wasn't so stuck up or serious, seemed me and my brethren could legit enjoy our time spent with this man. I listened to all he had to say and once he instructed us once again, i acted, a grin still across my face. I hold my right hand out, hand completely open and the palm pointing upwards.

Hmm?

[Vex]

Wearing a curious expression, Vex would approach Amaimon with his hand outstretched. The inside of his hand faces upward towards Amaimon, ready for further instruction. Vex's poncho sways impatiently, reflecting his mood, with the breeze as he awaits his comrades to do the same.

[Akasha]

With the peculiar conversation taking place, Akasha alongside few of new clan's members before her, listening to Amaimons instractions extended forth her dominant hand. With a spice of eagerness in her eyes she locked her view on the House Leader awaiting for what is to be next.

[Never]

Yoruichi grinned at Amaimon, she didn't expect him to use her as the example of the living thing, even though it wasn't what she meant it was funny to see him try. She didn't press for her question to be answered properly and just rolled her eyes, extending her right hand forward for him;

"You wish you could control my body."

[Drackos]

Hearing his instruction Alexander stepped closer to the group outstretching his dominant hand toward Amaimon. "Let's go, to the edge of reason."

''Good, good. We will now focus on our senses. First we've got the sense of touch, hearing, taste, sight and smell. Those are the five primary senses, however we have some internal one's as well which are essential, first being the vestibular one, which enables us to locate ourselves within a room, in regards of gravity per say. Are we standing up? Are we lying down? Are we sitting down or in an elevator. Going in details, this sense is located within the inner core of our ear, where we have a small puddle of liquid flushing about. In the very same location of the ear we have very small sensitive hair which can feel in which way the water is. You can then by that information level out your position - Similiar to a spirit level usage.
This seventh is the proprioception, this sense in particular enables us the ability to locate, our bodily limbs, without to visually locate them. The ability to feel their position, and to what extend should we employ strength to said limb or muscle. Its the ability to know how much pressure we should apply while writing, and the ability to touch our nose with a finger, whilst having closed eyes.'' .... While explaining the boring parts, Amaimon indicates with his finger each and every sense. First touching your co-joint fingers, then pointing at his ears, his tongue, eyes and lastly smell. Explaining the remaining two he made movements to help the pupils to understand, demonstrating examples.

''Now that we've got this covered - In The House Katsuyoku it is essential to be in tune with one self. This means feelings, your acts and overall behaviour. The ability to only show certain expressions and feelings upon your own volition. For this, I wish for you all to sit down in the typical lotus position.''

Amaimon takes a few steps back and locates himself ontop of a small protruding rock. This also gave him and overall better view of his students. He sits in the lotus position.

''To be able to understand one-self, one also unlocks the ability to percieve the Pure World. I'll however help you, of course. Though I may not have mentioned it before, but I will mention it now. Your potential all depends on your willpower. You'll be having to hone it in order to further your strength and capability to manipulate Genki, percieve Genki and not go mad from the usage.... Just kidding about the last part.'' Smirks.

[Lucidus]

Listening to Amaimon about the five senses was interesting however to Kirikoe's surprise hearing that there were an additional two in our core was much more interesting, he listened intently as he was replicating the movements himself just as Amaimon did due to pure curiosity, After a while of demonstrating Amaimon jumps on a nearby protruding rock and enters the lotus position and tells the students to do the same.

Kirikoe enters the lotus position himself getting a short flashback to his Doton training here his Sensei *Cough Amaimon Cough* Left him for 7 days and nights without food or water meditating within this stance.. needless to say just thinking about such a thing made Kirikoe's stomach growl, ignoring it however he moved on and proceeded to concentrate on his own stance and senses.

"I might not have much but willpower is the one thing I have an abundance of"

"Well that's a shame, I was looking forward to watching these other brats go mad." Yoruichi laughs, sitting down on the ground with her legs crossed as she did before.

[Vex]

Vex sits in the lotus position and begins to meditate upon his surroundings. He begins to expand his awareness of the world around him. After a long time, he begins to detect small shapes. The longer he meditated, the more clear their forms. Vex also began to see that each life form had its own unique 'glow'. It allowed him to sense those life forms which were alive.

"So our spiritual energy. That is what you're referring to." Alexander stated as he entered his meditative lotus pose beginning to open up each of his senses to the world around him while trying to sharpen his willpower, his spiritual energy, to allow him to begin to perceive the additional senses that Amaimon had mad mention of.

[Akasha]

Clearing her mind as to allow herself to connect to her surrounding, Akasha sat down taking a lotus position. Both legs interwined with her left foot being placed over right thigh and right foot over the left one. Such position in combination with clarity of her mind would allow for better percieving of the world around as well the sentient beings about which Amaimon spoke.

[Gobi Gobletsson]

Amaimon didn't know what Vex was sensing, but certainly weren't the Genki. What other ghostly natures or spiritual energies out there touching the poor kid, Amaimon wouldn't know of. U_U....

Anywho, as the participators took position, closed their eyes, legs folded and their arms spread slightly to each their side, Amaimon pushed off the rock and walked amongst them. Of course unnoticed, now that his students were so absorbed into meditating, trying to uncover something that they truly didn't grasp yet. This was a hard task indeed, and they wouldn't possible by able to manage it without the help of Amaimon, he knew this.

Humming for himself, he extracted a belt of tiny vials from his sleeve. Each vial contained blood samples, from each of the current participators, gathered from ages past. Perhaps their first encounter? That must have been it. Biting his thumb followed by forming a special sequence of hand signs Amaimon finished by putting his palm against the surface.
Unlike any other summoning technique, the kanjis were replaced. An omni-directional burst of runic-and celtic carvings alike spread outwards intangling with one another creating a perfect line and circle beneath each member. With a fizzling sound, the runes scorched themselves a few centimeters into the ground whereafter they vanished completely from existence.

''Gisei, Satori, Nakama no.... Katsuryoku." Mumbling he opened one vial after another spilling it into the center of the scorch marks left behind, allowing them to flood out to their respective owners. Despite the small amount contained with the vials, the blood seemed endlessly as it's crimson red colour started to rush the chutes.

Once complete, Amaimon formed a lone hand sign ''Kai.'' and with that the blood turned to steam, and a small implusive wave emerged in its wake. A sudden bursts of life signs emerged, for each and every student, their senses had been unlocked, their 'third eye' came capable of percieving the Genki. Yet, should they open their eyes, all they would see was Amidamaru, Amaimon's guardian spirit. A small sphere with a blue hue carrying a sword by its side, of the size of a toothstick.

Amaimon eyed each and all of you, expecting a reaction.

Yoruichi focused on what she did not know whilst in her meditative state, she was barely aware of her surroundings and instead looking deep into herself so anyone could be doing anything and she wouldn't notice. Her face showed her concentration and a bead of sweat fell from her forehead and down her cheek. And then a sudden heat.

She felt a sudden uplift around her, a heat flooded throughout her body for a moment as the steam rose up around her body, her clothes and hair whipped by the sudden wave that came with it. She had no choice but to crack open her eyes, her arms relaxed and fell onto her crossed legs as she let out a sigh;

"Amai-...." Her hand suddenly raised, pointing at the floating orb next to Amaimon, "What's that? When did that join in?...

...It's adorable can I touch it?"

[Lucidus]

Meditating in his lotus position Kirikoe's mind concentrated hard on trying to unlock a new found sense, however no matter how hard he concentrated or delved into his own subconscious the sense he was looking for simply would not come, the outside world to him at this point did not exist and he could not perceive anything which was going on outside, this showed how deep a meditation he had gone into.

Finally something had happened, little life signs were popping up at different area's, this snapped him out of his own meditation, as he opened his eyes all he could see in front of himself was a small blue orb next to Amaimon, which appeared to have some human features, he could also hear Yoroichi next to him.. she was not the quietest of people, Kirikoe turned his head checking the other members as it seemed they had all awoke, he returned his gaze back to Amidamaru examining him more, "So.. Your Amidamaru, finally I get to meet the spirit which has been making my sensei seem insane, Well pleasure to meet you" Kirikoe greeted the spirit in front of him awaiting a response if any..

"So this is what its like to be able to perceive and sense Genki.. its a peculiar feeling.. feeling all these spirit energies"

Kirikoe however somewhat liked the feeling

Seeing as how we have now unlocked our senses would this mean we can now passively sense our opponents Genki and such?

[Shady Doctor]

As i was instructed by Amaimon, i sat down in the lotus style position whilst focusing on the senses that he explained. Unbelievable that we had not a sixth sense, but even a seventh. This made things interesting and i planned on deepening my senses, all seven. Sitting quite close to kitikoe, i meditated for six and a half days with my eyes closed and mind blanked out before opening my eyes. Once opened my eyes i took notice of Amaimon's actions with the vials of blood. The moment he was finished with what seemed like a summoning, i felt a slight pressure on my body before a "relief" passed over me. In that exact moment i could feel the world, no i could feel BOTH the pure and impure worlds around me at once. The biggest surprise was what i saw with my own eyes. Some unknown creature or being that floated near Amaimon. Was this...

A genki?

[Drackos]

In his meditative state Alexander was cut off from the physical world around him for the most part. Unaware of Amaimon or his companions near by Alexander simply remained still trying to gain awareness of a concept he had no idea how to grasp. Yet suddenly his meditative state was broken. Not dramatically. It was simply a slight awareness of a gentle sizzling akin to that of cooking. The sound made itself known in Alexander's mind gently at first. Like a gentle buzzing in the background but overtime it grew louder and louder as it burned the runes into the ground. Moments later Alexander's state was completely broken by not the sizzling but instead a burst of heat, and steam. What broke his concentration however was not simply the steam but the smell of the steam. It carried the pungent scent of iron. Flicking his eyes open Alexander could only blink in disbelief in what was before him.

Before him Amaimon stood accompanied by what seemed to be another figure. Yet certainly not humanoid but a simple sphere shrouded in blue carrying a small sword. His eyes continued to blink in disbelief while his mouth fell slightly agape at what was before him. Whatever ritual had been performed clearly had awoken the senses that Amaimon had discussed earlier. His body was tingling with not only excitement but the awareness that flooded him. A Genki floated before him. It was as if it was from a dream.

"...Does it...he...have a name?" Was all Alexander could manage to say.
