Boss (unknown at this point): Ah, Ace. How goes Endymion?

Ace: Very good. Our projects are moving along at acceptable speeds, and we have new products and services rolling out monthly. Plus anti-Foxes operations are proceeding as planned

Boss: Good. I left the organization in capable hands. In fact, it seems you may inherit it one day, Ace

Ace: ...I don't know what to say. I would be honored. You should come to Hotcakes sometime and have lunch with me sometime!

Boss: *chuckling* you know I can't do that, Ace, I have bigger issues to deal with. Do a rain check for me, alright?

Ace: *slightly disappointed* alright then. I'll keep in touch.

Haru gets home tired , and mentally exhausted. She did not know that the day was going to end up like this. The changes her clothes to a simple tee, jeans and highcut converses wearing a cap and sneaks off to Hotcakes. On the drive there she felt her whole body shaking.
