[Question] Hot thread

Do you gain anything from it, if your thread gets into hot thread?
It is just temporary in that list on the homepage?
Or does it do more?

Yeah me too, i have put quite some work in some of my threads and i have seen really great threads from others as well. These threads didnt got even close to hot thread
and than some random post about Sasuke being a boss, gets into hot thread lol,
or something about religion.
