Regardless of whether or not Mokuton can't be absorbed, Hashirama still rapes Kisame with zero difficulty.

Your assigning an exclusivity and undue importance to mokuton where none exists, simply because hashiramas portrayal was that of a god like character in strength.
If a technique can absorb ninjutsu it should be able to absorb mokuton, except possibly the wood dragon technique that would negate such absorption.

Except it didn't, not to mention those aren't the same as what the DB clearly states. DB clearly states that Chakra is used as the source of life and causes Mokuton to grow from the ground. That's not the same as making Mokuton out of chakra nor is it the same as making flame with chakra.

Flame and Water Jutsu are chakra made, Mokuton is grown with chakra, not made with it.

Not only is it not an exclusivity, anyone who has Mokuton shares the same thing. Hashirama isn't even the important thing here so stop trying to make it seem like his hype is why this argument is being made. Mokuton can't be absorbed, not because of Hashirama, because that's how Mokuton is.

Also, it's not exclusive. Many Doton Jutsu are made from the Earth, and they are just refined with chakra or controlled with it (Onoki's Golem) that means Preta cannot absorb it.

Haha Hashirama would MURK Kisame. Kisames chakra absorbing techs would be countered by Wood Dragon( just like Hashi countered Madaras preta).

Mokuton grows from the ground and is a source of life, well water is a far more essential source of life to living things yet no one disagrees that itd be absorbed.

I dont see why doton (or techs that emanate from the ground) are immune to absorption. Sure its kinda awkward to visualize, nonetheless onokis jinton mixes earth element and we saw it absorbed by madaras rinnegan. An entire forest going the sane way seems absurd, but it is possible.

Let me word it like this: if those trees are grown from chakra, then that means that they were affected by chakra. Anything thus affected can and should be vulnerable to chakra affecting jutsus. If the only time the trees interact with chakra is at the source, it doesnt explain the wood dragons own absorption and the subsequent growth of trees after recieving the kyuubis chakra. So mokuton is very much capable of getting infused by chakra, and growing in response to that. As the trees grew bigger, narutos bijju cloak diminished. The mokuton trees WERE that chakra.

Therefore mokuton can be absorbed .
