Hoshigaki kisame vs Hashirama

Can kisames chakra absorbing techniques, both suiton and samehada based, counter hashirama?
I mean after all mokuton is ninjutsu, no reason why it cant be absorbed.

Mokuton isn't made of chakra, it's controlled by chakra or it's just grown by chakra. Kisame can try and absorb it with Samehada, but he'll have multiple giant branches crushing him to death. The ones he can absorb chakra from, Hashirama uses chakra to control them and he's always on them, he can just send more chakra.

Ts vital energy, but technically I see no reason why a mere earth plus water combo would be so special.

I don't think it will work out for Kisame. Mokuton also absorbs chakra. Everything Samehada steals would get taken right back..

Then Kisame would get overwhelmed by the shear scale and power of Hashirama's jutsu.

Samehada and Suiton will be a child play to Hashirama mokuton jutsu, Senpo Myojinmon on Kisame and then wood absorption dragon is use to suck all Kisame chakra.

Because it produces something that's not made of chakra, as the DB and Manga state and show. Mokuton is not chakra. Mokuton is made using chakra to cause it to grow. It's literally the same concept as Gaara's Sand. He controls it with chakra, it isn't made from chakra.

I think what he meant by "Mokuton cant be absorb" is because Mokuto is physical construct ninjutsu unlike Rasengan or any non physical ninjutsu

Some Doton are the same...like Onoki's Golem. He can form it from the ground and control it with chakra, so it can't be absorbed.
