She may be conflicted but it's clear she will always love sasuke, I don't ship them at all but i can clearly see she is meant to be with him. Yamato and sai are just people who ship them together, same as Kiba and Neji, if you want to use them to support your pairing as to why its going to happen, whatever floats your boat,cause i can do the same. Exactly, she isn't romantically in love with him because if she was then when she told that ninja that she was in love with someone else, Naruto should have shown up as well. I don't recall him being there but Sasuke. yes, Sasuke makes her upset, yet she is still in love with and Naruto makes her happy, and she isn't in love with him. We both know why Sasuke tried to kill her. Let's not try to deny that he was aware why she was there. It was a preemptive blow on Sasuke's part. Nothing horrible or inhuman about it. But I don't like the pairing, so we are in agreement there.

I have also done some research on Japanese mythology and how it relates to Naruto and I don't think that Sasuke represents Ninigi-no-mikoto to be honest. However, I think it's good that you spent time doing some research on Japanese mythology.

I think though, you should look at the deity Susanoo, as I'm pretty sure Sasuke is more related to him than he is to Ninigi. I've also read theories that connect the gods Raijin & Fuujin to Sasuke & Naruto, these two Japanese mythological deities (Susanoo & Raijin) have much more similarities to Sasuke, than Ninigi-no-mikoto does imo.

Ninigi-no-mikoto I believe represents the sage of six paths, To me it seems that the story of the Elder son & Younger Son. (Uchiha & Senju) are an adapted version of the story of Konohanasakuya-Hime & her Elder sister Iwanaga-Hime.

ex: Ninigi chooses to marry Konohanasakuya (Youngest Daughter) over Iwanaga (Elder Daughter) Iwanaga thus curses the descendants of Konohanasakuya, and humans (descendants of Ninigi & Konohanasakuya) are said to be short and fleeting, like the sakura blossoms, instead of enduring and long lasting, like stones.

ex: Sage of the six paths chooses the Youngest Son (Senju) as his sucessor over the Elder Son (Uchiha), thus the Uchiha pass down the curse of hatred against the Senju throughout the next generations.

I realize its not 100% similar, (the senju do not have short lifes), but there are some similarities, (elder sibling feels betrayed and a curse involving the younger sibling is formed). Also this idea is not mine, I read it a while ago on a naruto blog, but it made me a believer lol.

Except people forget that SasuSaku has never had any positive moments whenever someone brings up Sasuke she breaks down into tears or give a depressed look. The only positive interaction with the two is when Sasuke smiled at her for killing the Juubi fodder and saved her from getting attacked by them. Unlike SasuSaku. Naruto actually makes Sakura stronger throughout the course of the series. After Naruto brought out her Inner Sakura she now had enough confidence to say what she wants to say out loud instead of bottling it up inside. Without Naruto she would have given up on Sasuke a long time ago. Naruto has always brought out the best in her while Sasuke's done nothing but bring out the worst in her.

Naruto didn't bring out a thing ! It was Sasuke who advised her to train and just like Naruto, Sakuras goal is to reach Sasuke THAT is why she wants to become stronger, that's what she trained and worked hard for.

Only after Sasuke left her wish to get stronger became apparent!
Also what is left of Sakuras character if she doesn't love Sasuke anymore .... she revolves around him!
