Just curious, what's your opinion on english dubs using honorifics in anime? I mean sure we've had them in Naruto where they would frequently use the term "sensei" or in something else like Persona where "senpai" is overly abused. Just curious on what people think of them.

I was watching the dubs of Ouran Highschool Host Club and Gintama: Benizakura Hen where they did use -"chan" at the end of names like Haru and Gin. I'm not sure on their use since most people wouldn't understand what the honorifics mean, like if someone started watching anime dubs with something like OHSHC. But personally I'm not against it or anythimg.

Sometimes the honorific is all that can be used to relay the original meaning. Sometimes English works, such as Lady Hinata instead of Hinata-sama, but other cases the honorific works better
