Not trolling, not trying to start a flame war because those who think Kishi is a hack and those who think he's a God (or between those who think Part 1 Naruto was a masterpiece and Part 2 is terribad), just wondering people's honest opinions about the new revelations about the Byakugan and Kaguya.

I honestly think Kishi just messed this one up. I think early on he had the Byakugan as an integral part of the NV and the Hyuuga clan as one of the most important clans, but then entirely switched focus to the Sharingan and Rinnegan. I think he's finally reintroducing the importance of the Byakugan because he has to do *something* with it, given how much hype it had Part 1. Hell, Danzo was collecting Sharingan like they were baseball cards, but the Byakugan was protected by a curse seal. It's the most lusted after kekkai genkei in other villages! It's amazing! And then...we barely see it since the time skip, besides Ao using it to reveal Danzo's treachery.

But I could be wrong. Kishi could have been planning this all along for the Byakugan.

the Byakugan being the founder of the sharingan ties into TAOISM's japanese mythology of the wuji being the founder of the yin,

Kishi planned this from the start, even the 5 elements and the Jubi's ten tails ties into taoism,

I don't think you can say he planned it just based on the religious allusions, since Naruto is a messy hodgepodge of Shintoism, Buddhism, Daoism and even some Vedic Hinduism.

Seeing as he was right, yes he planned it

The Byakugan is stronger than most sharingan but the sharingan has more potential
What do you mean "he was right"? I mean, it's his work; everything he does is "right," I suppose. If you come from the school that authorial intent trumps all, then technically authors can't make mistakes.

True reason why byakugan was targetted not sharingan-

1. Uchihas > Hyugas- Ain't no one got the balls to go up against them.

2. No side effects unlike sharingan.

Kakashi was right when he said that the sharingan comes from the byakugan, he wouldn't have made Kakashi say that if he hadn't thought about it

I think he did plan it sort of. The byakugan is better than the 3 tomoe sharingan but is inferior (IMO) to the MS and EMS. Not to mention the rinnegan.

Kayuga had both Eyes One brother became the Father of the future Senju and Uchiha Clans, the other brother the Father of the future Uzumaki and Hyuga clan each child inherited a bloodline from their Grandmother and their father. Is that not how genetics happen to work? You have dominant and recessive Genes. The Senju and the Uzumaki got body genes as dominant and the Uchiha and Hyuga got Eye genes as Dominant and the opposite as recessive genes.

Im positive it was intentional, i mean in my mind he has put equal focus for the most part on the eyes (in the beginning, byakugan and sharingan played a role and now this time its sharingan and rinnegan in part 2. Rinnegan and Byakugan though doesn't seem to have as many troubles with their eyes as the sharingan users do which goes in with the fact they usually use their powers because they are hurt emotionally or traumatized or something.

It seems like to me he has had the start and the beginning pictured but nothing in between. He knows what he wants the end result to be and the lessons, but has had issues putting the details together (hence the inconsistencies that seem to pop up or randomness) but Kishi is only human.

I think we are seeing some of the last bit of development over any of the eye powers. The main focus will be the fruit and sharingan most likely after this, as at some point the eye and cycle of hatred will have to become cleansed. He could do some more development for Hinata, but i don't think so (again though just my thought) and Naruto and Sasuke's development is probably done after this too. Sakura may (hopefully for the love of God) get something else, but thats up in the air too along with anyone else now.

That shit would never happen. Keep writing your silly fanfics. :bouncy:
You were the one in denial about Kaguya having no Byakugan, so shush.

Besides, I said they WOULd IF kishi had developed it; but he didn't cause he couldn't have two side characters surpassing the main characters. He basically hindered it's power
