Homosexuality (since it has been a popular topic on NB as of late)

If you believe in the bible and you are a christian then you can clearly see that homosexuality is wrong.

Aside from that I DO NOT SEE ANY OTHER REASON THAT IS WRONG.



In my opinion its like this...I hate brutzel sprouts...I think they are disgusting to eat and to be honest they are not my favorite food to think about but I know some people who like brutzel sprouts and like eating brutzel sprouts, I find this particular thing about them disgusting and I wouldn't want to see them eat them but does that mean I call them names and beat them up? no I'm even friends with some of them. The same goes for Homo's (I don't mean to use that term offensively, I strongly believe dirogitory terms like homo, sped and things like that can be used as long as its not offensive) I don't dislike or hate them and I can be there friends, I don't give a crap if they like brutzel sprouts its their freaking business lol but I can't really relate to them as well because they like them you see what I mean? I could relate to someone who likes steak or bbq chicken better so I would most likely be their friend instead...you see what I mean? I don't have anything against gay people at all and its wrong to judge and/or attack them. Judgemental people are the people I hate.


Also even if you go by the bible and believe it is wrong...most of us here lie, have *** before marriage, maybe even steal and commit other sins so why would we judge them and not ourselves and all the straight thieves and liars around us?

I agree with you I am against it because it is a sin but that doesn't mean I hate the people who are gay. I sin so I know its hard not to and I personally don't know how it is being gay but Im sure its hard not to be one :shrug: at least for them. I have friends who are gay and they know I am against it...

I know you think its a choice, but i don't, otherwise why would you "choose" to be gay when your a teenager and get bullied for several years, if it were a choice i would think you'd just wait until after high school where its way more accepted in general.

I don't really get, what you're trying to tell us in this thread but very first of I want to state, that relying on the bible is never an option imho because it was written by mortals (men in fact). And as history has proven, humanity fails in terms of harmony.
Secondly I would like to say that one of my best friends has recently told me that he ís gay and of course this was a shock for me and I thought some things could never be the same again, but in the end I accepted it and guess what, I still live on happy. Of course I wouldn't like to see him making out with other guys but still he's my friend and nothing has changed between us and nothing ever will (due to his sexuality - as long as he doesn't try to make out with me ).
Oh and also, are you all that perfect?

You didn't get what I was saying? I thought I made it pretty clear...well anyway I didn't say I rely on the bible I said if you rely on the bible then it is wrong but unless you're a christian their is no way to say it is wrong you get me? anyway if you didn't get what I was saying you should read over it again, but we are agreement from what you said about your friend, I am only racist against judgemental people.
