[Discussion] Hokage: Kakashi or Naruto

1.He is too young.
2.He has no expirience.Kakashi has alredy been on a war so he might havea clue on waht to do.Although this war will be like no other...
3.He doesn?t have all the qualities to become Hokage. Remember on the second chapter when Ebisu listed all the 8 Confucian things,Naruto doesn?t have them.
4.He has to worry about the future of two friends now..besides with all the Kakashi talk of those who break the rules are trash, but those who betray a friend are worst than trash has really marked naruto.
5.Kakashi has alredy been chosen Hokage , since Danzou is not appropiate(he is not official hokage now, but they will follow his orders and commands).
6.Naruto is still a gennin while kakashi is a jounin and was ambu captain.
7.Although Kakashi only has one sharingan eye, it is better than none.He is better prepared to fight madara.
8.Naruto?s lvl of inteligence is way less than kakashi and he isn?t able to prepare a mission like him or even to guide a whole country.
9.He does not have control over his bijuu, so although he has more power, he can?t control it and he might kill more allies than enemies on the battlefield.
10.The people won?t choose him as hokage, not now at least.

I think kakashi has the wisdom that a Hokage needs but Naruto has the strength, although kakashi is powerful in his own right. I think Kakashi should be the Hokage and Naruto should be someone kakashi calls upon when things go really bad.

Although I don't agree completely with your post, I will say your right about Kakashi being better suited at this juntcure in the series.
Garra is maybe a year or two older than Naruto so his age doesn't matter, what matters is the level of wisdom and intelligence along with the battle skills and managing of battle tactics and the politics of the shinobi village/s that Naruto doesn't yet posses as you said that much I agree on as well.
Naruto needs to be able to mature even further, and develop his justu and shinobi tactics to a higher level along with discovering his second and third Natures if applicable. I believe Naruto is probably one of the strongest shinbobi in the leaf but you can't measure the qaulity of a Kage simply by there strength in battle. Naruto is to me an utter genius, (on the battlefield) but his knowledge outside the battler arena is less than adeqaute therefore I say Kakashi who is no pushover will be the better canidate for th kage position right now. BTW Kakashi is much more powerful than anyone I have seen thus far give credit for and he is the one pick I predicted to be the next Hokage its funny someone actually said I was dumb for saying that but looks who's holding the I told ya so stick lol.

why does it always come to the sharingan i mean madara had the eternal sharingan and he was beaten bt the 1st and the 1st didn't even have the sharingan and secondly about experience it is gained by working if naruto is made hokage he will gain the experience while working. and about intelligence he has shown improvements so wouldn't count that. and people the 9 tails and the 8 tails are two different beings and not being able to control the biju doesn't mean that he doesn't have the sage mode and the gift form itachi and they stll haven't even showed him using the 2nd tech of the 4th hokage that he learned or the the tech's he learned while he was traveling with J-man.
i do agree that Kakashi will be the Hokage but you really are selling Naruto short- age does not matter just look at Gaara -you say Kakashi has a better shot at Madara he could not beat Pein so how is he going to beat Madara- and Naruto is a better sage then Jiraiya so he has great power- and plus Naruto is a hero to the villiage- but he has to much on his mind to be the Hokage right now while Kakashi becomes the Hokage Naruto will go off and train somewhere probably with Bee

Not exactly whatyou said. as Brains in many cases can beat Bronze.(or whatever the spelling). Sure he might gain experience as a Hokage but now would not be the time for hiim to be gaining experience in leading a country as to fighting on the front lines because the 4th Shinobi World war is approaching. A war whose scale has never before been seen. In such a Scenario you would rather have Hands-On guy who can think with amazing calm and someone who's already made Hard choices and has been upto his neck with many many experiences so he would know better what to do as compared to naruto who on many cases have shown to us that he is a Hot-Head (I do concur that he is improving though and at a pretty rapid pace). Naruto is stronger on the other hand and hence would be better if ghe trained to improve his strenth by training and the likes(I also would like to see that than Naruto sitting on the Hokage's chair controlling other people-*this scenario would be BORING). It would be bnetter if someone else called the shots on others as well as Naruto himself so that he can be Guided to the right direction. And also have him get further experiences in Missions and also war (seeing the Scenario that he is Headed into)....

naruto can fight.. so he makes a good soldier.. but it takes a general to lead a war..
naruto knows his own strengths and weaknesses and uses them pretty well in a fight.. but if he was hokage he can't go and fight all the battles himself, he has to have a good knowledge of everyone else he can use so that he send them into the right types of missions.. kakashi knows everyone a lot better.. kakashi is def the better choice right now..

At the moment, Kakashi.
As Gaara said, Naruto is too attached to Sasuke to lead a village. He still needs to grow.
Besides, Kakashi seemed very unexcited, haha. He'll probably retire the second he gets the chance.

Am I the only one that's a bit worried for Konoha right now?
Kakashi is awesome, he's my favourite character, but he is barely Kage status right now, especially with all the current ninja about.
He is definitely S rank and a very powerful Ninja, but konohas Hokages have been getting progressively weaker.
since the 4th died Konoha has had a severe lack of talent.
The 3rd was strong but Orochimaru wasted him without much effort, and only the 4ths jutsu actually got orochimaru, everything the 3rd had as his own didnt.
Tsunade is strong, and smart, but lets face it against genjutsu sharingan etc, she is toast.
Jiraiya who was actually Kage status is now dead.
Let's ask ourselves one question.
At Kakashis current level, could he beat Orochimaru in a fight?

Hmm there is 99% chance that it going to be Kakashi but hes nice to he is skilled and when it comes to battle he got hes brain at Top Gear hes awesome to but next time our future Hokage is Naruto!

Remember, that'll only happen if Kakashi dies :T_T: so don't say that. Or if Tsunade recovers and is repositioned as Hokage. It'll still be a long time untill Naruto becomes Hokage of Konoha. Yes that's true.. He will die sooner or later. But that's just sad thinking. Remember how sad we felt when we thought he died during the Pain invasion? And i say "we" cuz i speak for every Naruto fan in teh verld lol
