Hokage: Kakashi or Naruto

So as we all know Kakashi was suppose to be the 6th Hokage, however that was cancelled due to Granny Tsunade's return. And as we know Naruto Uzumaki is meant to be Hokage or atleast suppose to be later on..it might change , we don't know. BUT what do you think about that?

Kakashi has shown many feats that make him a great Hokage, but however when it comes to resolve and "wisdom", and popularity. Naruto surpasses him.

Do you believe Kakashi is better then Naruto as a hokage? or do you believe Naruto would be a better Hokage?

Naruto:
-knows what loneliness is
- changed Gaara and Sasuke and Nagato
- Has become the Hero of the village, with more popularity and support then Danzo did.
- Is arguably the second or the third strongest shinobi Konoha ever had.
- has a lot of experience now
- his leadership qualities have increased in the war
- currently leading the alliance.
- ALSO A GENIN xD


Kakashi:

- jounin at a very young age
- Anbu
- one of the strongest to live in Konoha (Many in front of him x-x)
- considered as leaf's number 1 technician (don't really know what that refers to)
- Shikaku thought he was the best choice for Hokage
- respected by the anbu
- known all around the world.
- knows what PAIN is.



(If I have missed any other feats to any of the 2 characters please feel free to add)


Overall, I think Naruto would be a better Hokage. He is much stronger then Kakashi, his influence on the shinobis is much higher then Kakashi's. And also, I wouldn't say hes a better leader or etc then Kakashi, but I will say he has more resolve and etc then Kakashi.

Kakashi deserve it much but kakashi is going to die later in the manga and that is how naruto is goin to be the 6th hokage

Danzo wasn't a traitor he was the misunderstood hero he lead the Root. You forget their motto "the unseen ones who support the great tree of Konoha from the depths of the earth". Yeah Danzo had some problems but he did it for the sake of the village.

He lead the organization, that Sarutobi banned. Hashirama is against that crap.. and who created the village and on whose ideals is the village running on ? Hashirama ;x

Naruto isn't ready for the position of Hokage.....

Itachi had to verbally put him back in his place, Naruto is far too rash, and you've got to realistically think about it.. Strength isn't everything.

Kakashi far surpasses Naruto in intelligence and influence, Naruto just helps with morale, he doesn't lead them. Honestly, at this time Naruto isn't ready for the position of Hokage, nobody's stupid enough to put an entire village's well-being in the hand's of a 16 year old child ruled by his impulses.




Side-note: Naruto's intelligence is average.... At best, he excels at front-field battle strategies and deceptions. His place is on the battlefield, not the Hokage seat.. Well, right now. As the story goes he'll eventually realize his dreams, well, that's if he actually saves Sasuke. He did say he'd deny ever becoming Hokage if he could never save his friend and keep his promise.

i think Kakashi should be 6th Hokage and Naruto 7th Hokage. But i dont think that Naruto is to immature to be hokage he has really grown up alot and is real good with leadership. But Kakashi just fits the role better i guess.

Why are you comparing Hashirama to Naruto? .... As the manga goes Hashirama still was always seen as a leader, so he always thought as one, probably except in times of peace of course where it was alright to loosen up. Hashirama and Naruto in the end are incomparable in experiences, you're only basing your argument off of their current personalities.......

I agree with this but naruto has a little bit of the leadership role sometimes, and as what you said about Hashirama always been seen as a leader and all that is so true.

At times, yes, but usually in fillers he's been seen taking real responsibility, in main arcs he pretty much rushed in without thinking, which both Kakashi and Itachi reprimanded him for. Even during this war, Naruto was nearly coerced twice to give up and would've had it not been for Hinata snapping him out it.

I go with naruto because kakashi is old an in turn of power it's naruto also narutio isn't a genin he got upgraded to chunin.(said in one of those episodes don't remember)

but since he's stuck inside Naruto, Naruto will be the president and Kurama will take control whenever is needed!! so is basically 2 Hokages in 1.

Kakashi is a great choice be a Hokage his inteligence, ability and strength is deserves be Hokage but as everybody knew he didn't want to be a Hokage like Naruto who have a dream become Hokage.
Kakashi just want to be protect the village and everything he love in his own way (not be a Hokage) so in the end Naruto who'll be the next Hokage.

When its all said and done it really doesnt matter its a question you can not ask. Hokage does not have to do anything anyway.Kakashi will always be around to support naruto and the leaf village for that matter.Also with people like Shikamaru aiding the current Hokage. Kakashi would make a better ANBU leader. Hokage is reserved for the strongest ninja not the smartest. I believe they even say that in the series

I think Kakashi is better suited when it comes to managing the villages agenda whether it be keeping and creating treaties with other villages, developing policies, electing officials, forming squads to send out on missions, etc. I mean could you imagine if someone like Danzo were still alive, and Naruto was kage? He wouldn't have the slightest of clues on how to deal with a guy like that on an intellectual level, where as someone like Kakashi would.

On the other hand I will say this, when it comes to actually defending the village Naruto is light years ahead of Kakashi. I don't see how anyone could even try and argue that point. Ultimately, what I would like to see is Naruto become Hokage, and have Kakashi be his right hand man.
