This seems very familiar,
Sealing power within herself to have control over the war and effectively subduing it.
Oddly enough they are visual similar, they seem to have the same structure and facial expression,mthey give of the same body language as well. That sternest, or superiority about them, but oddly plagued

Also it should be worth mentioning that they were able to harness the powers of the beast without having their consent. So in a sense mito stole the power from Kuruma, just as kaguya stole the fruit
And this is a bit of speculation, but if we look at the mechanics of the yin seal, it usual works as a conduit between beast and mistress, and both kaguya and mito channel their powers through the marks on their forehead, though, mitos is a seal she probably formed, to probably store Kuruma, and kaguya's probably manifested from actually taking in that power directly,
