Anybody find it a tad annoying that the actual "Madara" corpse has the Rinnegan
because somehow he "unlocked it during his bout with the First Hokage
reeeally?! the Sage of the Six Paths has been touted as this omnipotent god like man who had this very rare dojutsu yet now were finding out that if you "look" hard enough you'll somehow unlock it's secrets...

Jeez who else is going to gain it sasuke, naruto, hinata?....I just want to know what anybody else thinks or have I missed something somewhere..

I'm also wondering if it's genetic specific and/or what other criteria must be met besides mixing uchiha and/or senju and/or uzumaki dna anybody have any theories?

the mixing of uchiha and senju/uzumaki in my opinion may not be enough to unlock the rinnegan...but what you need next i have no idea

You have to be Uchiha, possess the sharingan, possess the MS, and then possess the EMS. Good luck on having siblings who both have MS, and then one decides to allow the other EMS. OH, and then you have to aquire Senju DNA, (most likely from Hashi/Tobirama) AND THEN have the power to unlock Rinnegan, god knows how.

So, no. Stop complaining about someone earning the Rinnegan. It is ultra-rare, only two people, excluding the SO6P, have acquired it.

Good point. We haven't actually been shown a flashback of it being given to him yet. so it could still be a lie

I think it's the fact that someone other than the So6P has it. Like, maybe if a normal person can get it, assuming that Madara is actually only human, it kind of doesn't make The Sage that great.

Kishi seems to like to do that a lot. He says something is rare, then gives everyone that power. I understand why it's done, to make the battles more entertaining, but it really takes away from it.
Like, I think it would have been more interesting if Sasuke wasn't able to get Susanoo, just to show 1. That the Susanoo really is rare, 2. that Sasuke isn't Itachi's equal.
Which i'm not trying to imply he isn't, just that it would have been nice to see the character deal with something like that.

It wasnt during the fight, it was shortly before Madara died

yes this^^ it takes a lot of the thinking from us the audience like hmmm I understand it's building suspense like "oh no he has the rinnegan but how do we suspend the belief that you can go to sleep one night and wake up with the rinnegan.....

I wonder if you really do need EMS to activate the Rinnegan? I read those couple of chapters and I couldn't find anything that suggusts that EMS is a requirement. I might have missed something. Can some provide a link that shows that EMS is part of the equation?

very true, as of right now it just seems like he was FORCED to develop it, probably only due to the fact that he may have been the only compatible person to do so
