As you probably know, there will be a new Hitman-game this year.
The following information is from Wikipedia.

Basics:
"Hitman is an action-adventure stealth video game that is currently under development by IO Interactive and will be published by Square Enix for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 11 March 2016. It will be the sixth entry in the Hitman video game series. The beta will serve as a prequel to the series."

Are you a fan of the franchise or is it totally new for you?
What do you think about the episodic release, similar to the Telltale-Games or "Life is Strange"?

To me, it is kinda new. I never played a Hitman-game before, but heared of it in the past. It looks very promising, because the game gives you so much freedom in your actions. Hm, I guess it is so appealing to me, because it basically is how an "Assassin's Creed" game should be. (The series became trash, but that's another matter altogether).
I really like the stealth-aspects. So.. yesterday I pre-odered the "Intro Pack" on Steam, which will grant access to the first setting in Paris, as well as the Beta. The Beta will start on February 12. for PS4 and February 19. on PC.

Let me know what you think about it !

I used to play hitman, I played absolution and one or two other,[blood money, and silent assassin (though didn't finish it)], I'm not a big fan of stealth, so I'm more of a CoD, Battlefield person, the graphics for absolution was amazing and it had a rather solid story line, so this should be good

Never was my cup of tea but it is an interesting game. Hope the episodic nature wont ruin it.
Yeah, I kinda have that concern too.
For story-driven games, for example the telltale-ones, this episodic release is great. Because the story could evolve in several directions, but I don't know if it suits a game like Hitman. I'd rather buy and play a complete game from the beginning. On the other hand, I only had to spend 20€ and have now the option to play the Beta, to decide if the game is worth it.
Hopefully it will be good.

Well, since I'm broke and all, I pirate to try and then wait for them to go really cheap on Steam to buy them.

Sadly most of the stuff that comes out nowadays is either way too hard on my stone-age pc or has Denuvo so I can't even try it. :v

Am thinking about buying Life is Strange tough. The game intrigues me and everyone's praising it. Did you try it by any chance?

Yes, without a gaming-PC, you are screwed nowadays, if you don't want to play on console. Understandable, but it sux, tho.

And concerning Life is Strange. Yes!
I totally recommend it. It's one of my favorite games of all time.
Well, I'll admit that the graphics are not the best, it doesn't support motion-capturing and the story contains a lot of cliché in certain times, while the game does not "reinvent the wheel", like we say it in Germany. But it is still great if you like story-driven games and are an emotional person.

It get's better with each next episode ^-^

In the text you quoted, I was speaking about another game, "Life is Strange". That's an episode-game too, but all episodes are available by now.

About Hitman:
Well, you can buy two different things now (on PC).
# 1, The Intro-Pack - which grants access to the upcoming Beta-test and the first setting "Paris", when the game releases in March.
# 2, Hitman Full-Experience - which is basically the complete game

But even if you buy the complete game, not everything will be available at launch in March, 2016. The developers, Io-Interactive, want to release the "episodes" with different settings and missions each month, so you just have to download them then.
