I truly believe that j-man can beat hirizen even in prime at this time because......j-man is j-man..lol nosa but at this time jiriyah prob knew just enough jutsu that could throw the professor off and he is in sage mode. What do you think

Well i think Hiruzen would seriously kick some a** in his youth, but i think Jiraiya surpassed him just by a tiny bit, it would be an epic battle, which would go to Jiraiya in the end after Extreme Diff for both.

jiraiya is strong but not even him can compare to Third Hokage am pretty sure if he could then wouldnt he be the on with the nicknames The Profesor and God Of Shinobi

First because Well i just dont see jiraiya winning Hiruzen is a master a chakra control he capable using collaboration jutsu by himself combining fire with earth making lava that extremly amazing

not only that he know all jutsu of konoha well that mean FTG,Rasengan,8 gates

There other people with toad,slug and snake contract those contract were more likely given by there teacher Hiruzen who maybe can summon them too plus he has Enma that can destroy wood style with ease at his staff form

Death Reaper dead seal can reach longer like minato could not like when he did with oro that he need to get close

J-man is not that fast compare to Nagato he was but nagato lacked speed even kabuto know that but to someone like Hiruzen there maybe = on speed

Hiruzen can not summon toads, if you saw the story of Jiraiya he reversed summoned himself to mount myoboku to become a sage, hiruzen cannot do that. i dont know about slug and snake but i dont think so, still Jiraiya is faster than Hiruzen, especially in SM.

I still believe jiraiya wins, though it will be with extreme diff.

Its a tough battle to say. Hiruzen, hailed as the Professor and an extremely powerful ninja. He was also the strongest Hokage in the history of Konoha (stated by Kishi himself). Jiraiya was also a terrifying opponent when he meant serious combat. But even Hiruzen said that being the strongest doesnt necessarily mean mastering all ninjutsu.

Tons of techniques and raw power vs summonings and a SM advantage. Hard to say, and I wont say because we havent seen the Prime Hiruzen in action. Everything would just be purely on speculation.

However strong Sarutobi sensei was in his prime is all speculation because we haven't seen him fight in his prime. So if we go by what we have seen the my guess would be that Jiraiya is the victor.
