Yeah, but this is only hype. By feats he is by far the weakest Hokage. Each of them can defeat him with little to no effort. However I believe he has some hidden powers which well be revealed soon.

OT: Judging from the Japanese mythology of it all, Enma can presumably transform into more than just the adamantine nyoi. Hiruzen alone is a jutsu master, adding Enma in the mix is a frightening combination.

I have come to understand that Hiruzen on the base is considered by most to be "fodder" I don't understand why he gets ranked so low especially if he didn't even get the chance to show his full abilities in the war yet. Shuriken Shadow Clone jutsu was just to analyze Obito's attacks. Also anyone saying he does not have an A rank technique is wrong. Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu IS an A rank technique

I find it hard to believe that someone whom both Hashirama and Tobirama believed in to protect the future shinobi could be weak.

Here is what I know
- 3rd person to earn the name "God of Shinobi. Surprisingly only 3 shinobi share this name. The SO6P, Hashirama Senju and Hiruzen Sarutobi. If Tobirama and Minato were strong, how come they never earned these titles. Hiruzen must have done something great in order to earn this nickname.

- Hiruzen's strength, speed, and chakra were all greatly diminished during his fight with Orochimaru and should not be held against him. Because of his chakra restraints, he had to be careful what jutsus he used.

- He used what was necessary to win, fighting smarter rather than harder, and should also be given credit for that. He used Dragon Napalm to try to attack all three at once, used Mudslide Wall for defense, summoned Enma for support, then used a Shadow Clone + Reaper Death Seal combo for the win.

- The fight took place in pt.1 before the increased powerscale happened in pt.2. Hell, pt.2 Kakashi would annihilate pt.1 Kakashi.

I've read a lot of "Hiruzen is fodder comments" and I would like to point out a few things:
- He was like 70 when he battled a younger stronger Oro.
- He wasn't emotionally in the game. He was fighting someone who was like a son to him.
- Everyone's techs were nerfed in part 1.
- His power is as limited as Kishi's attention on him.

This is all very true.

Also, Hashirama and Tobirama were his mentors, he didn't want to fight them. Orochimaru was forcing him to in order to torment him.

But the funny things is that Kishimoto hasn't forgotten about Hiruzen. He retconned being stronger than Hashirama, but the rest has remained unchanged, and Kishimoto still hypes Hiruzen from time to time.

Exactly!!! Even after Hiruzen had sealed parts of his soul away, fought for quite some time, diminished his chakra greatly with shadow clones, disarmed Orochimaru sword in close combat easily and while having the sword of Kusangi pierced through him, he was still able to hold Orochimaru's soul with the Reaper for an 1 hour long.

Just because Sakura can't defeat Orochimaru + the two Hokages doesn't mean she can't beat Hiruzen. If she gets the regeneration, she can beat him quite easily.

Falcon punch, heavenly kick of pain, sleeping bombs, Katsuyu, superior chakra reserves, evasion, etc. Even current Sakura has good chances of beating him if she plays her cards in the right way.
