Why do you believe an attack like that would cause him to die of chakra abosorbtion? In his battle with orochimaru he used multiple elemental jutsu, Summoning one of the strongest summon in manga (which takes a lot of chakra), The death reaper, Shadow clones, and still had enough chakra to fight an additional hour without exhaustion.

His arsenal is not about cutting, its about blunt trauma, burns and shocks. I can't see none of that harming her behind repair.

Because according to the databook he has 3 points in stamina. This means he has early part2 Sakura level chakra reserves. He was running out of chakra when he fought Orochimaru, therefore sacrificed himself to take him down.

Summoning one of the strongest summon in manga (which takes a lot of chakra)

Enma is indeed one of the strongest summon, however he is only human sized. According to Jiraiya only summoning a boss summon takes a lot of chakra. ( I'll search the scan if you want )

Shadow clone shuriken decapitates. And with the use of clones hiruzen can make it omnidirectional, which means tsunade would be able to dodge.

Nah, let's not underrate Tsunade's durability. Even Iruka tanked a significantly larger shuriken. Tsuande can punch the ground to shield herself or she can simply dodge the attack.
