Hiruzen wasn't weak at all, but he is definitely overrated on this forum. It can't be helped, another forum I'm on thinks Tsunade is a top 10 contender XD

now that u think about it... at hiruzens time we have not realy learned about the strong shinobi so maybe he was the strongest out of his lot!

i agree that he can defeat all of the ninja you said with but exept one i disagree with you
Im pretty sure he can take on and defeat harshima with high difficulty to do so tho lol
and he held his own against him wen he was old and orochimaru and the 2nd hokage ganged up on him...

Second of all, hiruzen was called god of shonibi BY OROCHIMARU whilst they were fighting. This is also what had happen or was around when hiruzen and oro were fighting
-Nagato had rinnegan
-Itachi left village was classified an S-ranked nin
-Kakashi and Guy are sensei's (also fair to say in there prime if not close to it)
-Killer bee training with A and has hibachi inside of him.

1 a wikia is not a valid source.
2. Kakashi didn't have MS so he wasn't prime.
3. Go back a couple pages to read what I said about hiruzen, it was quoted multiple times so it shouldn't be hard

im not fanboy, but i've read manga and followed episodes, and it was stated there that he was god of shinobi. well i dont know lol.. never seen him on action.. till in old age against oro + 2 edo hogakes.

1. I know wikia isnt a valid source, I put wikai there though because its the only site with age.. And im sure its safe to say that Itachi, kakashi, nagato, and killer bee are all around the same age seeing as who there sensie's are when they were young..

It was stated when he fought oro that what we saw him do was pathetic to what he was truely capable of.. Fair to say only a fraction of his power, Yet he still deafeated 1 hokage, 2nd hokage, and took oro's arms, and because the power scaling is diffrent between part 1 and part 2 that just means he is even more powerful..

I'm getting sick of the power scaling was different in part 1 argument. If so many things have been retconned from part 1 why should I still believe in Hiruzen's hype in part 2 when in part 1: It was said it took 40 hand seals to use water dragon jutsu, using water style without nearby water was considered godly(despite everybody doing that now), Orochimaru acted like he wasn't even from konoha when first introduced, why should I still believe Hiruzen is the strongest hokage despite the fact that no one talks about him anymore.

i honestly the 3rd raikage could beat the 3rd hokage prime aswell. given when w4e seen as an edo from him. how would the third hokage wound him when he is the only one that can wound himself

I believe the 3rd was young an in his prime when the 9 tails attack but he wouldnt fight the 9 tails an said wheres minato... The god of shinobi wouldnt say that :sy: he was afraid an wouldnt fight it alone cause he wasnt confident in his own abilities. Minato was said to never be surpassed, Pain was said to be a god an invinciable, Itachi with the yata mirror an his sealing sword was said to be invincible, An the 1st was said to have super human strength an his power was of fairly tale. As far as rep goes oro said he was the god of shinobi. Honestly, who gives a **** what he say itachi beat him twice with no problem. An jus for the record, no one else who was alive then thats still alive to day was in there prime when the 3rd was. Kakashi looked like he had jus joined the anbu an itachi was still very young an if you got back to the episode youll see itachi still holdin sasuke while he was a baby when the 9 tails attack. On my last post i said kakazu said the 1st wasnt that strong. Lol. Who ever pointed it out was right that it wasnt stated. To my defense i was tired lol. But as i checked kakazu did try and assasinate the 1st. But failed. He did survive that battle and this is before he learned earth grudge. Also why are people using edo madara as a reference to the 1st power. Like i said before hes a special edo kabuto made. With the 1st dna and rinnegan. Which he didnt have when he faced the 1st. He would crush the 1st like he is now. Its not fair to compare. Also about the 1st beating madara and the 9 tails. Wasnt it stated thatDURING the battle mito sealed the demon inside her to take madaras trumph card away. We dont know exactly what happened during that battle. We have some knowledge not all. Im not defending hiruzen. But when people are saying that certain ninjas were born after hiruzen so its not fair to say hes the best or one of the best because certain characters werent born. That statement is true for the 1st. Many ninja werent born when he was alive. Its another statement i find to not hold much meaning.

Until I hear Kishi say that Hashirama was he god of shinobi STFU He made it if he wanted to imply that Hashirama>Hiruzen he would have already have stated something about Orochimarus Edo Tensai being incomplete or that the Kage were not at full power but he has yet to say that. If Kishi says Hashirama was the best Hokage then I'll quite Narutobase right after apoligising to you

There are soo many answers to what you just said but you would actually have to read the previous pages. Kishi may not have expected to make the 1st stronger. He also called the 4th the strongest shinobi and that only naruto can surpass him. He also called Nagato GOD. Not A GOD, GOD HIMSELF. He also said Hashi was the strongest shinobi through madara... So um i refuse to listen to hype after Kishi has gone EVERY where with it. Even Itachi was said to be untouchable with his legendary weapons.
