Hashirama being called a fairy tale doesn't void any hype of hiruzen's, Thats just wishful thinking.

People didn't believe in Hashirama's power. So even in a best case scenario for your guys, where Hiruzen isn't a complete retcon, Hashirama still has the advantage.

Hiruzen was never stripped of his title, I fail to see why there can only be one god of shinobi.

Hiruzen has received absolutely no recognition since his revival, and the only thing he's done is shit his pants at Hashirama spiking his chakra levels.

It doesn't state they were 1%, The Edo tensei oro used back in part one is the exact same as the current one, Unless you think Oro has perfect edo tensei even more since he lost his arms or while he's been sealed?

I'll believe Tobirama since he said that they've been revived as stronger than they were before.

But it's getting more and more clear every week that Hiruzen's a complete retcon. I mean, let's be honest. Up to a certain point, your arguments do make sense. But they only make sense when assuming that Hashirama isn't a complete retcon either, which is far from true. Both Hiruzen and Hashiramas' powers were retcon'd, with Hashi getting the better end of the deal.

They had time to stand around and chit chat with Hiruzen. Enough time to break free if they were indeed at full power.
