Hiruzen is gonna live up to the hype?

Hashirama didn't even live up halfway to the hype. Madara did however, and more so. Hiruzen won't live up to the hype, same as I doubt that the Sage actually was so powerful as he seems.

The hell u talkin about? 1st hashirama didnt use even half his power this time to fight against madara... now you will say "Oh but madara has rinnengan so he one shot KOs 1st hokage" BS kishimoto is holding back the kages to make a story... then hiruzen DOES live up to the hype... check out his achievements... learned under 1st and 2nd , teaches 3 kids who turn out to become senin, as an old man he fights 1st and 2nd incomplete ressurection... now we come to know he controls 5 elements... WTF u saying not living up to the hype? o.o are u joking? hashirama is considered the best shinobi ever because he is able to use mokuton... take that from him what does he get?(not lowering hashirama level(my 2nd fav character)) as for hiruzen he even surpasses oonoki... NOW imagine hiruzen in his prime.... MONSTER!!! as i said before the kages are being held back... 1st kage uses 3/4 major attacks and goes down ... 2nd attacks fisically and killed... 4th withought 2 arms... u really think they are this weak -.-' HIRUZEN SHOULD KILL MADARA U.U

Note, a very small version of the statue. Which probably means its a lot weaker than Hashirama's.

The Buddha used the same exact "primitive" jutsu and according to onoki those same 5 jutsu were enough to give the entire alliance a ton of trouble. In fact judging by onokis words it probably gave more trouble then the fists. And the fact is its very unlikely that those are anywhere near horizons strongest jutsus. I'll put a scan to onokis words when I get to my computer I'm on my phone right now

ok i thought it was onoki that said that but it was the head samurai. and although the samurai dont use jutsu they would naturally have to have a decent understanding of them since they fight against ninjas and i think it would be safe to assume that the guy who is basically a kage like figure for the samurai would know a fair bit about ninjutsu and how to counter it. decide for yourself if he is a reliable source.

I mean those jutsus against an alliance that have no chakra are going to be pretty effective.

If Madara somehow died, the Edo's crumbled, Kakashi went home and Gaara went back to the desert, Konohamaru could come by right now and take over the world considering how worn out the ninja are at this point...

i was adding more to the post when at the same type you were typing your message and when i tried to post it chrome stopped being able to load narutobase for some reason. this has been happening to me alot lately. anyway im not that sure about what what i said that you replied to after i found out it was the samurai kage that said it, but like i said in the content i added to my previous post he as a kage like figure for samurai who even though they dont use jutsu would have to know how they work and how to counter them considering the entire world of people that they are up against are ninja who use ninjutus, as the leader he would naturally know the most on this subject out of the samurai. still nowhere near as reliable as onoki though. still i would say by his reaction that they are pretty op when used together, maybe not at the level of hashirama and madara are capable of but still way better than anything else weve seen in the series outside of that and maybe narutos full power bijuu bomb. and like i also mentioned before this is nowhere near hiruzens limit as far as mastery of those 5 elements go. its pretty safe to assume he has very high level jutsu in each of those 5 elements.

I think there is more ways to be impressive than showing overwhelming magnitude of force.

I think his nickname as "Professor" is the real hype, and he certainly exemplifies that. "God of Shinobi" was only said by Iruku, he didn't know anything about greater ninja. However being able to use all 5 elements would by comparison seem God-like.

It's kind of like saying... Okay so he mastered every school of martial arts in China, but it's not as impressive as this boxer who can knock anyone out w/ 1 haymaker.

Depends how you come at the question, "What is more impressive?" Some would agree w/ the previous statement, while other wouldn't.
