Hiruzen is gonna live up to the hype?

So far he hasnt lived up to it imo, or do you think he has?

Shuriken kage bunshin, analyzing abilities, summoning Enma and using all 5 elements at a descent lvl, does not seem to live up to the hype (and he has sealing jutsus, since Oro, Tsunade and Jiraiya learned them from him).
Sure being able to use all 5 elements, allows you to use a jutsu of an element that counters your opponents element (if they dont have a kekkei genkai) and that is useful, but those elemental attacks and shuriken jutsus are not enough to be ''God of shinobi'' worthy.

Shooting a stream of fire/lightning/wind/earth/water just doesnt look impressive compared to elemental
attacks like Fuuton Rasen Shuriken, Kirin and water jutsus like Kisame's.

Shinobi that use impressive jutsu are people like Gai with the gates, Kabuto with long chakra scalpels in combat,
Minato and Tobirama with FTG, Tobirama with Edo tensei, Onoki and Muu with Jinton, Dan with his spiritualization jutsu, Gaara with his sand abilities and people that can enter sage mode for example.

Hiruzen hasnt showed anything like that or of that lvl except the shiki fujin jutsu, however
that would kill him. Hiruzens jutsus seem pretty simple.


What do you think should be be in Hiruzens arsenal that could make others give him the title ''God of Shinobi''? Or has he already shown enough to be worthy of that title?

For me he should at least start using stuff like for example the gates, Nara clan jutsus, some unique jutsu(s) of his own and more impressive elemental jutsus than the simple ones he has shown.

Do you believe that Kishi will make Hiruzen show us more feats?

He's the only person in the entire NV that can use all 5 elements without KKG, Ocular powers, and Special DNA. That's living up to the hype of mastering any jutsu in konoha that isn't a KKG or ocular jutsu.

Well anyone can use all 5 elements apparently. The whole shinobi Alliance did earth wall jutsus (low lvl ones though).
Hiruzen being able to use all 5 elements +large scale elemental jutsus is unique though.

By my standards Hiruzen has all of the Leaf Ninja's elemental jutsu's except Lightning Blade and KKG. He also possible has gates and couldn't use it for obvious reasons but now that he is edo maybe.

The only thing not shown was the 8 Gates. If Guy uses it, he will die for sure. Since Hiruzen is an Edo, He should be the one to display it!

First off, he doesn't need to prove that he's worthy of the 'God of Shinobi' title since the manga & databook says that he is.

Secondly, if you open your mind, you'll see the amazing potential that Enma has.

Hashirama didn't even live up halfway to the hype. Madara did however, and more so. Hiruzen won't live up to the hype, same as I doubt that the Sage actually was so powerful as he seems.

Note, a very small version of the statue. Which probably means its a lot weaker than Hashirama's.

What he said and those weren't primitive attack cause u can't use a weak elemental attack to stop a strong one and from what the manga said he counterd it with the same quality the budda realesed.plus spiral zetsu was really gunning for the shinobi's so he wouldn't have used a primitive attack on them cause that will not be enough to defeat a chunin class shinobi not to talk of a jonin class.hiruzen's attack wasn't primitive

They were. It was basic elemental jutsus. Same as we have seen Chunin/Jonin level shinobi spam all over the place since the series started. Spiral Zetsu's Buddha isn't strong, its rather weak when compared to Hashirama's. I doubt its elemental attacks are strong enough to counter another jutsu from a Chunin.
