Hiruzen is called by sarutobi why?

I can actually see where u r coming from. My roommate and I were arguing about this just the other day. Granted the Japanese do address people with the family name first in a lot of cases, Hiruzen seems to be the only one addressed with just his last name or his title of Hokage. (Unless I'm forgetting someone.) Kakashi isnt refered to as Hatake sensei. Tsunade isnt refered to by her "mysterious last name" -sama. But Hiruzen is always called Sarutobi sensei or the Hokage. Nice observation.

I never knew his real name back in the day so I always said Sarutobi, so that's what im used to sayin.

cuz the rest of the clan is stronger then him so to make him feel special they call him sarutobi as in the name of the clan to make him feel strong
